WOW...that family will end up in court and all ties will be ripped apart.

It's amazing how families seemingly pull together in times of crisis, but when it comes down to it, greed take precedence.

This happened in my family as well, truly sad.

And these people aren't really in a need of money to begin with. I could understand if they would be starving for a couple of days and have no income and their houses being almost foreclosed, but as we all know they aren't in such a situation.

As far as I know, his mother, Katherine I think (?), is going for custody, and right now she also has control of the estate. Like someone else said, this ought to be interesting, we think it's been a circus until now...yeah.

I could care less what they do with all that money...It don't buy happiness infact it can make you miserable. I am poor and happy.

This is certainly going to be a circus. Should be entertaining at best and we have to listen to all of that smack in the media.

I don't really know how much IS going to be left. He has had SO many lawsuits the last few years, and more keep cropping up. Add to that all his medical bills, and I think at least one of the suits that was settled in the past he had to pay a monthly allotment. I don't know if that has to continue to be honored...maybe not. I mean, yeah, there is still quite a bit floating around, in spite of rumors that he was almost bankrupt a few years back, supposedly that was why he was trying to do the comeback tour and concerts. Although to most people who have had so much money for so long, they think having under 5 million is being poor.

while I was at dialysis today I was watching CNN and they said he had assets of around $500 million with about $300 million in debts

Kind of gives an idea as to why he got nothing
