That has a dangerous job? Fireman, Cop, etc? If so, why? If not, why?

Hey girl, hope your having a good night.waving

Well, having been a police officer in the past...I can say for a fact, that there are no shortages of women, that are attracted to a man in uniform. There are a lot of different jobs that are dangerous, to some degree, just some more than others.whoa JMO

Hi there!

You are right. There does seem to be a uniform thing going on. laugh But then, one could just buy one of those.

Here is a little advice from someone who was married to a cop. It takes a special person to be married to someone in law enforcement. Most cops who are married (over 50%) end up divorced due to the fact their spouse can't deal with the midnight shifts, the on-call hours etc. I was able to handle these things because I never thought about how dangerous his job was (he was a Border Patrol Agent), yes I said was, he was killed in the line of duty in 2007. He was 45 years old. We were together 30 years. I was just 15 years old when we began dating in high school, so I knew him before he became a cop. It was an adjustment, but because I loved him it didn't matter that he wanted to go into law enforcement. So, here is my advice after my little ramble. If you find someone you like who is in law enforcement, and if you can accept the fact that he or she might not come home at night, go for it. If not, don't even bother. You can't change a cop. they are cops for a reason.

Mirror, you are just a good old fashioned Ghost Hunter! You could have your own show, you and Tina, on CourtTV.

I can see it now. Dominick Dunne's Power, Privilege, and Mirror.

My ex was a woodland firefighter and former smoke jumper (firemen who jump out of perfectly good helicopers/airplanes into a burning forest). It definetely adds a challege to the relationship, no set schedule never know when they will get called out and going days without having any contact.

Not something I'd really care to repeat again

one of the most dangerous jobs and one that people generally die quite young is being a truck driver...and that is what Darrel does.

driving 80,000 pounds of vehicle in any and all weather conditions is dangerous enough, then add all the traffic and you have some very dangerous situations.

one of the most dangerous jobs out there is an over the road truck driver!
