If you want to listen to soft, chill music I suggest giving the "Seven Swans" album by Sufjan Stevens and pretty much anything by Iron & Wine a try.

Oh hun I could hook you up with my whole catalogue! Try Coldplay, Paolo Nutini, Clapton is always good (nice choice fella!), Gavin DeGraw might be a little to feminine for you but I love him.

Rockier stuff, The Trews are stellar, Snow Patrol is also very good, Kings of Leon's new album is awesome, and check out The Kooks (English, very good)

Wow, that could still mean a lot of genres!

Easy to me is house, trance, world beats.

Try Sneaker Pimps, IAMX, and Daft Punk.

There is series of various artists on CD called "Hi-Fidelity Dub Sessions", and I LOVE them! I think there are 5 or more volumes. Go to Amazon and search Hi-Fidelity Dub Session and you can listen to songs from each.

They have artists on them like DJ Krush, Tosca, Dzihan, Rootical Sound, Thievery Corporation, etc.

Here is one of my favorite vids by DJ Krush. It's all super, mellow, hippie cool!

This is old school and more upbeat than most of their stuff but Spin Spin Sugar is mad awesome!
