Topic: I like tough questions, | |

And I would like to see how all of you answer this one.
Scenario, You had a very bad day of work and it went way into over time. Now you finally have a chance to meet someone but you know how first impressions go. Your cloths reflect the fact your day was less than perfect by a mile. Do you arrive on time in work cloths not wanting to keep him/ her waiting or do you call it off? And here is a rejoining question, Do you call him/ her and ask if you should call off and reschedule or go for it? ![]() ![]() We are waiting for your answer! |

Life is short, YOU may not have a second chance,(date) so ya call and explain and tell them sorry,,but we do all work and we can make the best of this by having a great time out, and you'll have a great first date joke, wink,,,lol

Well, with my job, they don't like paying over time. So, I would happily walk off and go on my date. I will call my date and say I am running late. I may stop by a clothing store and find something quick to wear if my home is too far. I do want to look my best.

I'd call, explain and say that I'm sorry but I'm going to be a few minutes late because I'd like to have a chance to get cleaned up first. Then, haul hiney and get there ASAP looking fresh as a daisy! lol
I'd like to think they would appreciate the honesty and effort for wanting to look your best. |

Just go for it. What your what clothes you have on and if your sweaty or not are not going to be what matters. ![]() Agreed. If I was getting to know someone I'd have to weigh the messages... go all stinky from work - either I don't care or I care enough not to waste time gettin there. Take a shower - I care... Or I just want some. Then agin I could just call and say... Gotta take a shower want ta join me... ![]() |

Knowing my house is always spotless and plenty of food in the freezer and nice collection of Chateau plonk I turn the tables round "Honey I wanted to show off my skills in cooking and entertaining. How about you come to my place I have made a Le Cordon Bleu dish with a 2001 bottle of Bordeaux. We will still have time to catch that show straight after the dinner. We can call a cab to take us there and I will get a taxi to drive you home." hows that so she can not even worry about anything ![]() And hurry home get washed and changed |

I would call them and ask if I could be a little late, on account of I need to take a shower. ![]() There you would have my sympathy! I wouldn't want to waste the evening. And I'm not a patient person. But I would TOTALLY feel grossed out all night and that would ruin everything. So... compromise is key! |
