LOL!
You are so tough, Krupa (not!) flowerforyou

I don't want to be the head-chopping boss - even with a smile
(...finding replacements is tough and who would clean up the bloody mess and throw away the heads??? That doesn't sound positive at ALL!)

Great question, Jane!!!

I do believe that the quality of our thoughts affect the quality of our lives. I know mine do...I guess that doesn't say a lot but let me suffice to say I have some good days and some bad...

I have a friend who is very pessimistic, he is such a downer, always seeing the negative in everything. It is hard to spend much time around him. Also he has to many health problems to count although he has lost a lot of weight lately...

I don't think there is any doubt that how we think is directly related to how we live - during good times and bad.

I agree

I really don't like negativity around my space

Of creeps me out. Makes me feel wired

Gets me nervous like a cat

I like positive energy

It's good. Warm. Happy. bigsmile

The quality of my thoughts impact the quality of how I perceive my world, and my place in it. The quality of my thoughts also impact on the quality of others......

I believe you get back what you put out...so put out kindness.

i believe in the same thing .. but lately i have been putting in toll house cookies. hoping to get more back at some pointbigsmile

i find a positive attitude can be quite contagious, so trying to keep a positive attitude all the time does promote a better environment to work or play.bigsmile

I think so, yes. If we have good and positive thoughts, we can have a good life. If we have negative, pessimistic thoughts, then our quality of life will be lessened.

for a while yes. but friendships and relationships will ultimately determine quality of life. no matter your outlook when you have enough crap tossed on you it does get tough. for example 2 family member having near death experiences in the same week. both in ICU and totally unrelated. at the same time losing your job and other person in your relationship starts cheating on you. Well positive outlook at that point may be tough to have. that is where having friends comes into play.

Yes..and IF you are a negative, pessimistic person...what kind of people are going to be around you?

NOT a whole lot of positive, up people...

The "Eeyore" type of people can suk the life out of a person so fast!!! many times they have depleted the emotional bank account of many of their friends!!

just sayin....

Ah but the friend is a level of love that though different from the transendent love between two intwined souls....

(((for all my friends)))

and 'Eeyore' was loved by his friends... Was he not.

Not actually....

Eeyore's depressing @ss was dragged along by the pig/rabbit/kangaroo/bear that didn't want to leave the depressionist behind for fear of him dropping xanex with vodka shots , posting a goodbye thread on Mingle and killing himself and having Christopher Robin find him hanging from the blue ribbon tied to his tail somewhere in the hundred acre woods.......
