Obama is our first Bi-Racial President...yet he focuses on his blackness more than anything..just my observation.
 I only see people that dont like him bringing it updrinker

He doesn't bring up his whiteness, did he claim to be the first Bi-Racial President? Or the first Black President? Right, Black President.

Does anyone focus on Tiger Woods Korean Heritage? No, he is the first Black Golfer to do this and that.jmo
 His mom was white, and he was raised by his white grandparents.:smile:He has talked about this many times:smile: And according to the goverment,if you are mixed, then you are black.:smile:It has always been that way:smile: Obama is considered black:smile:

Whoa! Wait a freakin' minute! I am half Cuban. Does that mean I have been checking off the wrong box all of these years? Should I have checked "Hispanic"? If it is as you say, according to the government if you are mixed.... then I must be Cuban, right? Clearly Caucasion, being of substandard quality, is automatically bumped to the back eh? Well hell! I feel suddenly empowered! Minority grants! Yaaaay!
I find it deplorable that the libs are the first to parade a persons race, and so perpetuating division while screaming equality. What a bunch of two faced Nancy *****! Try a little assimilation for a change. He is an AMERICAN. Forget the African, Cuban, Asian, Hispanic, etc., and start calling yourselves AMERICANS! GOD! Politically correct feel good namby pamby spineless jellyfish liberals make me want to puke! Show some balls for a change.

He very well could be racist too though, he couldn't even decide what religion he was during his campaign. Funny how much he lies and they still love him....Hitler anyone?

+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
he might be one but he has done nothing to show it . hes said nothing to show it .
but the guy who said he was a gentleman because he didn't respond in kind to the others didn't show me that he was better than the rest . I wondered what was wrong with him when he have a answer to the other side .
I found my self on his side because the other side was so far out of touch with what the united states people want i couldn't in good conscience vote for them .
But that doesn't mean I well support him the next time around . he seems to be drifting a lot and doesn't seem to under stand what is necessary to get us back to work . but he has done a great job for the stinking rich .
and if they don't get the illegals out soon I'll never vote for a democrat again .

No not racist. Just a birth certificate forging, socialist with no credentials . if you wanted to elect a BLACK president you should have elected one with um....charecter maybe. How about Michael Jordan, i mean.....duh, uh.

smile2 Can you prove any of that?smile2

That is what makes them so angry... besides even with proof it doesn't stop the craziness.

drinker TruedrinkerYou are rightflowerforyou

laugh Half that stuff didnt even happen.laugh And Obama forged his birth certificate when he was a baby?laugh What?laugh

But the other half did happenlaugh

bigsmile What half?bigsmile The other half of what he said was just name callingbigsmile He wasnt referring to anything happening in half of what he said:smile:

He is a socialist and he was a senator for only two years so he doesn't really have credentials. Being a community organizer does not prepare you for running the country. NOT saying McCain would have been better because he too is pretty worthless IMO. I make no bones about the fact that I don't like lefties, and I also don't like the conservative right either. I see this guy as our waterloo economically. I have zero faith in his ability to use common sense and this Health care scam is a prime example.

He was a state senator for 7 years, a US Senator for 2, before that a constitutional lawyer,,,Id say the credentials are far from unimpressive and much more than just a 'community organizer', although that is an important skill to have as well, and considering the community, not an easy job.

Think of the logic of it. Would he have a need or would it be accurate for him to call himself the first WHITE president or for Tiger to call himself the first WHITE golfer? To aknowledge that he is the first president that happens to be black is not saying he is not also white, it is merely saying no other presidents have been black,, AT ALL.

Think of it this way, IF he werent the pres and he robbed a store, unless it was in hawaii, most witnesses would describe him asthetically as BLACK. That description makes him the first BLACK president, just as Tiger is the first BLACK golfer to do this and that. In our culture, others describe us asthetically and asthetically , we have our first Black president in office.

So you can be a complete idiot and have your own show. You have to be really out of it to think Obama is a racist.

Obama is on my nerves..I will admit that I was excited when I heard that a black man had FINALLY gotten into the white house..THEN he started acting just like,if not worse, than every other president thats been in there..actually wait..I take that back..he definitely IS worse than the others before him.

Th color of the president, for me isn't the real issue.
It's where they all have us headed.
One thing we could all, or the majority do, is write in the most qualified candidate. Get away from this, so-called, two party system. The Repubs and Dems are playing all of us for fools.

I wish everyone felt like you do regarding race and politics, but everyone will never agree on any one issue. I think race only matters in the historical perspective. It was not a factor in my vote for OBama but it was nice that my son could see someone resembling him in a public position like the white house and not just on a sports team or a music video.

In our age there is no such thing as 'keeping out of politics.' All issues are political issues, and politics itself is a mass of lies, evasions, folly, hatred and schizophrenia.

My first reaction is the same as the first one who responed.

So?

I'll bet the one who started this thread wasn't bothered one bit when Maxine Waters called Ronald Reagan a racist. Or when he and George W Bush were referred to as Hitler. Or when Clearance Thomas or Chistopher Darden have been called Uncle Toms.

The first black Secretary of State was Colin Powell. He was appointed by President George Bush.

The first black female Secretary of State was Condi Rice. She was appointed by President George Bush.

Michael Steele, head of the republican party..........is black.

I wonder what the reaction would have been if Keith Olberman had called pres Bush a racist on his show. Too many people use that word too freely these days.

Faux news is a bane to intelligence in this country. Beck is an absolute idiot.

The president is probably one of he most unracist individuals in this country. Of course, he is aware he is black, it is hard to be in this country and not know that you are black.

White folks don't have that problem, they go around daily with no reminders of their whiteness.

lol, actually HE doesnt make much a deal about his race at all. He does respond to newscaster and commentator questions regarding his historical position as the first black president. He doesnt seem to have pride or shame in race. I am sure as well, that he had many black people influencing and supporting him in his life. I also would guess that as someone that the majority of people would see as a black man, he and his friends and loved ones have experienced enough racism to see signs of it in others. If I were raised by all women(being female myself) would that make me unable to recognize that a man being passed over for a nursing position for a less experienced and less qualified female candidate,, might be sexist.

Whether or not someone sees signs of racism has nothing to do with their race ro who raises them.

If you (all of you) can stand there and say that you don't have even the smallest shred of racism coursing through your veins, let me be the first to call you a damned liar. You can hide it, gloss it over, and fix your mask as tightly as you possibly can but the truth is, your views have developed, along with varying degrees of angst toward other races, as a direct result of your parents, friends, enemies, social surroundings, etc. And if your mask is there to "fake it til you make it" then I at least will applaud your effort. Your children will hopefully be influenced by the mask rather than what lies behind the mask because they, like the rest of us, see both.

Here is a prime example of the blind idiocy I spoke of. How the HELL can you speak for anyone other than yourself? You have NO idea whether the President is racist or not but you find it within your power to claim who is and who isn't a racist? Your comments are fraught with ignorance. And you are suddenly worthy of being a spokesperson for blacks? I think that no matter what country they are in they are still aware of the fact that they are black. You don't have any reminders of your whiteness? Ever been to North Minneapolis? You will remember.I have three black employees. One is a crew lead. Should I ask him if he realizes he is black because he makes more than his crew? Take off the rose colored glasses, look in the mirror, and be shocked when the next time someone cuts you off in traffic you don't slip over to the racist mentality for even a brief moment before you straighten up. You are as hum,an as everyone else, you just don't have the courage to admit it.
