You just said you don't have much in common with them, so why would they be interested in someone who doesn't share their interests? Why is it that when I approach a black woman, she rolls her eyes and tries to embarass me, but when I'm with any other type of woman (asian, latin, middle eastern, white, etc), they'll say "Why is he with that white *****" ?(even when she isn't white) What the hell?! So I should date no one if a black woman doesn't want to be with me? The hell with that. My problem, I'm also (naturally) into black women (along with others). The issue is that this happens 99% of the time. The only black women into me are the ones I'm not into. The black woman will complain that "We can't find any good men", but when one shows interest, they get shunned. Those little games were fine in high school, but it's time to quit the BS. Life's too short to games. There's my rant. Opinions are welcome. Maybe this has nothing to do with the color of someone's skin but it might have to do with your advance. The rolling of their eyes might be in response to your "game" or what you say to them. I have no idea how you approach a lady that you wish to meet but if you are trying to use pick up lines, slang, or anything schmarmy -- that might be the problem. A guy who approaches with a smile, a nice "Hello, my name is _________ and I wanted to meet you." goes a long way in etiquette.  I'm sorry you’ve had bad experiences. I wish you well in your dating search.  |

Playing hard to get is really not even a game played by women anymore. A woman has a certain standard of how soon she will kiss or whatever but it is not because she wants to play hard to get, it is for her own integrity that she has those standards. It sounds to me from the OP that hard to get is not your problem, you seem to want women who are not interested in you. Look for more interested parties, I would say. |

It's a pretty straight forward approach. No slang, smarmyness, pickup lines, or anything. My "game" doesn't switch when speaking to a black woman. It's fine when dealing with other types or women, just not most black women.
What I do notice is that the "Slang", "Game", etc. tends to work for them, at least the "ghetto" ones. Maybe it is me. Oh well. Then let's switch it up then. Where can I find normal black women? And to answer Calleigh, it's genuine interest. Also, to answer Dragoness, why should I not go after what I'm interested in? I am not the type to settle with someone cause their interested. Cause if I'm not interested, why bother? |

Good one Cal. Yeah, maybe I should give up on black women, as as Cal so bluntly put it, we don't share common interests. My thing is that I hear the term "open mindedness" tossed around like failed juggle attempts, yet when it comes down to it, it's a ruse.
