the "without strings" kinda throws me off...love involves strings...and sometimes fuzzy handcuffs.

What makes one person bad and another person good? Personality matches remain dependent upon the individuals themselves. Two people have to have some kind of commonality, in order to be together. Maybe that commonality, is what you veiw as bad. Or there would have to be what you view as good in the other person as well. There is good and bad in everyone, sometimes we only take the time to see what we want to see in each other. There is no answer to this question or theory because it has an individualism aspect.

You might as well rephrase the question to, "why do women want what they know is no good for them?"

In my case it's hope. "Love" isn't blind it's the bits and pieces of hope the no-good man gives you that is the blindfold in these situations. Hope that there is actually a heart/ something better to the inconsiderate, disrepectful, often-lacking-common sense, shadow of a man.

(And it has nothing to do with the sex...
that fire inevitably starts to die without the oxygen it needs: desire and something more substantial)
