No... but it's a funny book... it's writen by a couple who are television comedy writers.

And I got it at 40% off at borders.

I just finished a couple of Dashiel Hammet books. and a David Baldacci. and started a new series of books my dad gave me. Michael McGarrity writes murder type mysteries set in Santa Fe and Albuquerque that so far seem pretty easy to read. Sort of like the Tony Hillermnan books

I have a couple of Kinky Friedman books to read coming up. his are always fun stuff. Kinky is just weird

I read about a book a day so I have to always have three or four on deck

Just finished The Eight. Now I'm listening to an audiobook called Don't Know Much About History by Kenneth Davis.

Apparently Queen Isabella did not really have to sell the crown jewels to fund Columus's voyage to America. That's just a myth I was taught in school. noway

I have a couple of Kenneth Davis's books, including that one. Good stuff, and interesting oddball things.

Just finished reading the Chronicles of the Cheysuli series (8 books) by Jennifer Roberson. Now I'm reading the Lynsay Sands Argeneau vampire series ( the 9 I haven't read yet), and am debating between the Elric saga books by Michael Moorcock, or rereading Robert Jordan's Wheel of Time series after that.

Wanting to get the Dresden books by Jim Butcher and roll through them, but that requires a payday. LOL!

currently im re-reading the multi-epic..lucifer's hammer.
i swear that this book should have been made into a movie years ago.

a giant meteor from space is about to collide with the planet, making it a civilization ender..the world is officially doomed, and the government decided to inform the public about it.

the book follows a multitude of people's lives and how they decide to live it before its end.

Really interesting. Even if you're not that interested in history, which I am, it's quite the eye opener to realize how much misinformation is generally accepted as true.

Mick doesn't live that far away from me. I met him in a local Toys-R-Us, he was there with his kids and signed some autographs. I just said hello and small talk and let him go on his way.

Right now I'm reading the Sookie Stackhouse series. I'm reading the second book "Living Dead In Dallas". I'm about to take a break from that book series and start reading the book "The Death of Bunny Munro" from Nick Cave.
