New to the site and just wanted to know any good advice (who to talk
with or avoid, how to send a message and get reply, etc)

Just be yourself and jump on in to any of these threads that interest
you.

The Community forums are where we post and read and all get to know
about each other. Jump in, do some reading, do some posting, and you'll
get to know who's who pretty quickly!

There are LOTS of great people here -- people who can give good advice,
people who can write poetry, people who can ask questions that will make
you think -- pretty much every topic gets covered in here, sooner or
later (except the manned mission to Neptune, NOBODY seems too eager to
talk about that one.... )

Look around, meet some people, make some friends!

Thanks. I hate being rude and jumping into a conversation. Alot of the
posts seem like they are between established friends.

Ella1-when you get a chance may I talk with you about planning a manned
mission to Neptune?

Don't worry about it. I do it all the time..lol

Ella -- It's true that a lot of the people here have known each other
for a long time, and there are some ongoing conversations that may seem
a little esoteric. But it's OK to jump in -- actually, most of us who
are "regular" posters (and I use the term loosely) had to do exactly
that at one time or another. You just have to get yourself known,
that's all.

Just what ever you do. DON'T eat the yellow snow!
