Make your pick, with a score.

Closest one wins....

....bragging rights on Mingle.

The replay that I saw, didn't show it.

I'm assuming it happened before that particular camera shot.

There are about a dozen calls and no-calls thruout any given NFL game, that can be questioned. At one point, there were 2 penalties on the Vikings and 9 on the Saints. Every team has to over-come bad calls. When you complain about the refs, you are beginnning to make excuses.

yeah but the thing is it was a bad call that decided the game how can the defense make up for it when it put the saints in field goal range i saw the whole play no contact

No one bad call decides a game. Just because it happened at the end, it is easy to point to. If you would like, I could review the entire game and point out all the bad calls that went against the Saints.

I would say that the five Viking turnovers were all bad calls

Exactly.

They have to look in the mirror, first.

They had every opportunity to win the game, some breaks even coming off bad calls that went in their favor.

O.K., you win.

The Saints are going to the Super Bowl because of that one bad call, by the refs.

i'm not saying it was just the call the vikings despite all the mistakes still kept it close, but to see a good came basically end on a bad call sucks...just coming from a football fan thats all

I would agree with you, when I saw the replay, I didn't see much contact, but the video replay I saw didn't show the entire route.

Merril Hodge commented, the defender never played the ball, so if there was contact, the ref had to determine he impeded the receiver's route. If that is the case, he did his job and called the penalty. As ticky-tack as that seems. The ball landed 3 yards away - hardly "uncatchable" as I have heard some people complain.

Personally, I've never understood why people expect the refs to let them "play the game," in O.T. or in the last few minutes of any sport. As if, throwing out the rule book, or calling the game differently would somehow be fair. (remember, at that point, the Saints had been penalized more than twice as much as the Vikings, hardly a case of "home-town refs.")

If it makes you feel any better, it still did not decide the game, as Minnesota would have to drive the ball down-field and score, without fumbling or throwing an interception. Something they had not been able to do much, yesterday, late in the game.

Indy 42-35

and I agree it was a horrible call, but none worse then the new england fiasco over the raiders....sheesh

two bad calls, the catch that hit the ground, and the interference call, either way it's over, wait'll next year, Farve will retire and then go to the eagles, lmao...that is if they have the sense to finally get rid of mcnabb, I doubt it.......

Oh, yeah, back to the original thread topic. Haha.

My heart says New Orleans, my brain says Indy.

I always seem to go with my brain and it turns out wrong.

I'm going with New Orleans, with a few big defensive plays.
