That's a tough situation kissable; do life your way on one hand... (potentially) lose friends on the other. I feel for ya'
 It's sad to hear that your friends think that way, but I'm not gonna' comment on the quality of your friends. I do agree w/ Harmony's statement about dating ppl BASED vs. REGARDLESS of race, I've done both and the "regardless" option went much smoother. But don't sneak around, that's never good. And remember that whatever you choose right now can be amended as you go... you'll always remain kissable on this site.

you are the one dating the person, not your friends. Date who you are attracted to and if your friends don't agree, then that is their problem, not yours. I bet they wouldn't like it if you told them who to date
 sorry but they don't sound like real friends to me. Now if the guy was abusive or into something he should be into, then that is different. If that was the case then I would speak my mind to my friend. Other than that....not my business |

Date who you want, if you follow the path of what your friends or family wants you to do you will be miserable. Do what makes you happy and if you lose friends over it...they weren't very good friends in the first place.

My problem is the other way around. I've been seeing a black guy mostly FWB since December. He's the one who wants to keep it quiet to protect me. It's not working out this way. I'm beginning to think he doesn't want his friends knowing he's seeing a white gal.

as i said before. friends r important. some guy from NY just sent me a scathing email about hitting on this woman who is complaining about liking certain types and her friends are against it. futhermore he called me a biach. as i said. friends are important. don't tell them what you are doing, and keep your cards close to your chest. If my friends are keeping me from what makes me happy...they are not all that important. Not to mention if I had racist friends...they wouldn't be my friends. Preschool or not, I don't really give a ****, I can make a hell of a lot more friends without a bunch with a narrow-minded point of view chastising me for my decisions. |

I live in Beckley, every black guy I see has a white woman, I don't see what he thinks he's protecting you from. 9 times out of 10 all his friends have white women too, so I think he's making lame excuses....

Good friends are hard to find. At your age, you will find in 5-10 years, you'e more than likely not going to have the same friends. I have a couple of really good friends all my life and we've each traveled our own paths to meet and greet every few years. We talk on the phone much more than that. And I've had many friends over this lifetime never to be seen or heard from again. They were just there during that time frame of my life, during that growth spurt. Please don't let the women that say they are your friends make such life altering decisions about -your- life. You could meet a guy, you both really click, everything ...would you turn him down because 'the girls' will disown you? Are you going to spend your life with them or a man? (mate). Just food for thought.

I like white guys ,everytime i mention a white guy name my friends make up their faces and acting like am stupid to even think that way .so i always put it off.
