Israel knows quite well that it's impossible to make 'peace' with an opponent whose concept of 'peace' is 'the peace of the grave'. Hamas, Fatah, Hezbollah, or any other muzziephilic hatemongers have no intention of making 'peace' with Israel. They. Want. Them. Dead.

Two words: Never Again.

They want all nonbelievers dead.........

with all due respect and this isn't an attack , you and Slow are ignorant to this issue. This has nothing to do with religion at all. It's a power /land grabbing on Israel's behalf and it's freedom on the Palestinian behalf. Right wingers seem to have this fantasy that Palestinian = muslim which isn't true...30 percent are christian and 10 percent Jewish. Israeli arabs are also persecuted. Palestine doesn't have an army which allows for zealots to use this issue an excuse to fight Israel. SO be it, as someone that has lived in that area, that comes from that area, and has witnessed the atrocities that go on, it's absurd how so many westerners are hoodwinked into believing that Israel are the poor innocent victims in this conflict. Jerusalem has no ties with Israel or the jews, it was illegally occupied, more land is being illegally occupied, and we will continue to fight and die rather than to live under an oppressive rule. The majority of jews in their govt aren't even religious nor do they have ties with that land. The European Jews have no ties to that land other than the origin of their cult which was in Judea at that. Take away religion and they have nothing.

Please. I don't need or want your feigned 'respect'. This is known as the 'too cute by half' defence. It has NOTHING to do with LAND. It has EVERYTHING to do with KILLING JEWS. 'The peace of the grave' is the objective. It's the ONLY concept of 'peace' the muzzies know. Your pretense to 'tolerance' and 'rule of law' is a smokescreen. Finally, if LAND were the issue, why, then, with all the land Israel has traded for 'peace' over the years, have the muzzies NOT been willing to live in peace? Land is irrelevant. Survival is relevant. Never Again.

Not true of all muslims though. That needs to be said.

Yes it is. Islam is a religion of hate, murder, torture and degredation to women.

"I believe that the Obama administration is willing to throw Israel under the bus in order to please Muslim nations," Koch said. "We'll know when I'm right or wrong."

Our worthless CIC is trying to throw AMERICA under the bus to appease muslim nations. And the dummies here that support him are helping him succeed. Pathetic. Every moron who voted for this guy is gonna get exactly what they deserve. And I'm right about that.

The askenazis want genocide on arabs regardless of religion..if you'd like i would love to bring up the lovable quotes by your prescious Netenyahu.

Arguing with idiots. Muslims want Jews wiped off the Earth. Iran has pretty much spelled it out a-duuuh. If the politically correct Muslim supporters have so much sympathy for them, go live amongst them. See how they treat you. Its not just the Jews they want gone, its America too. They hate us. Get a clue.

They're Persian Jews born there. They accepted the Persian Empire. They get treated equally. Its Israel that Iran is wanting wiped out, even tho most high-ranking Israelis are Persian Jews. Obama feels Israel is treating the Palestinians unfairly. Of COURSE he's siding with the muslims.

Whaddya know I DO have a clue!

(1) Learn to spell words correctly.

(2) It has EVERYTHING to do with killing Jews.

I am neither ill-informed (see how we use hyphens?) nor brainwashed. You, on the other hand, are a mouthpiece for the inappropriately-named 'religion of peace' that offers only 'conversion by the sword' and 'dhimmitude' for the 'converts'. You want to impose your 7th-Century attitude and lifestyle on us or kill everyone who resists. Sorry, but that ain't gonna be a happenin' thing.
Oh - your condescending little 'attitude' ain't winning you any 'hearts and minds', either ...

Remember the words: Never. Again.

Actually the largely FORCED expulsion of jews from neighboring arab countries greatly exceeded the largely NON-FORCED exodus of arabs from israel. This is
almost completely ignored in the discussion of the arab refugee
problem but the expelled jews never received compensation and certainly
would not wish to return to the countries that expelled them now.

Unlike the palestinian refugees however the jewish refugees
eventually resettled with the help of israel, the u.s. and other
countries. The remaining jews in iran, dubai and egypt are only
token numbers and even they are often abused and persecuted.

Glad you brought it up. Read more about the issue of the jewish
refugees and the population of jews around the world below:

=-=-=-= from http://www.jewishvirtuallibrary.org/jsource/myths/mf14.html

Although much is heard about the plight of the Palestinian refugees, little is said about the Jews who fled from Arab states. Their situation had long been precarious. During the 1947 UN debates, Arab leaders threatened them. For example, Egypt's delegate told the General Assembly: "The lives of one million Jews in Muslim countries would be jeopardized by partition."3

The number of Jews fleeing Arab countries for Israel in the years following Israel's independence was nearly double the number of Arabs leaving Palestine. Many Jews were allowed to take little more than the shirts on their backs. These refugees had no desire to be repatriated. Little is heard about them because they did not remain refugees for long. Of the 820,000 Jewish refugees between 1948 and 1972, 586,000 were resettled in Israel at great expense, and without any offer of compensation from the Arab governments who confiscated their possessions.3a Israel has consequently maintained that any agreement to compensate the Palestinian refugees must also include Arab compensation for Jewish refugees. To this day, the Arab states have refused to pay any compensation to the hundreds of thousands of Jews who were forced to abandon their property before fleeing those countries. Through November 2003, 101 of the 681 UN resolutions on the Middle East conflict referred directly to Palestinian refugees. Not one mentioned the Jewish refugees from Arab countries.3b

The contrast between the reception of Jewish and Palestinian refugees is even starker when one considers the difference in cultural and geographic dislocation experienced by the two groups. Most Jewish refugees traveled hundreds — and some traveled thousands — of miles to a tiny country whose inhabitants spoke a different language. Most Arab refugees never left Palestine at all; they traveled a few miles to the other side of the truce line, remaining inside the vast Arab nation that they were part of linguistically, culturally and ethnically.
help of israel and other countries

About current jewish populations of these countries...

http://www.jewishvirtuallibrary.org/jsource/Judaism/jewpop.html

Egypt is down to 100. Iran also once had a thriving historically
significant persian jewish population in the hundreds of 1000s
has about 10,000 now - just a little less than Switzerland, and
dubai? There may be a few jews in dubai but there are no synagogues
in dubai and no documented jewish populaton in dubai....jewish men cannot marry muslim women there or they can be prosecuted.

It does not seem like the UAE is very welcoming/tolerant of jews.
Here is the U.S. State Dept. website on the UAE.

I have an in-law from Iran and a good Jewish friend in Tel-Aviv. They each have their own opinions of how life is in Israel and Iran. The Persian Jews are not discriminated against in the muslim countries; the Jews in Israel are keeping the Israeli military one of the strongest in the world but are literally watching their backs.

I loved your post, by the way. ^

Thank you. I did hear that some of the Jews in iran are
doing alright. But what some say while living under Ahmadinejad
is a bit different than what some say after leaving. I do not think that people living in iran are really free to express themselves
particularly if they disagree in some way with the govt. See this
interesting article about the iranian jews from a variety of
perspectives. Below is an excerpt...

Some problems exist

Testimony from Jews who have left Iran suggests more serious problems than those cited by Jews inside the country. In written testimony to a congressional subcommittee in February 1996, an Iranian Jew complained of being imprisoned for two years on trumped-up charges of spying for Israel. He also said his arrest was preceded by harassment at work and pressure to convert to Islam. Inside Iran, Jews say that they frequently receive alarmed telephone calls and letters from relatives in the United States concerned about their well-being, but that they themselves do not feel physically endangered. Their major complaint is the inability to visit family in Israel, and what they say is inadequate funding for Hebrew schools, which are administered by the Iranian Ministry of Education.

Although many Jews hold jobs in government ministries or within state-owned firms, they say they are unlikely to rise to top positions. In addition, Iran's strict Islamic law, or ''sharia,'' contains many discriminatory provisions toward non-Muslims.

Iran thinks the whole world is spying on them. The three american hikers are to stand trial for spying. But its their bad for crossing into that evil empire in the first place.
