@CowboyGH
The lie was Abraham decieved the king into thinking Sarah was not married. But funches will not see that,he will play word games with it instead of seeing a wrong was done by Abraham, and not by the king, who payed the price.
Wow, that could be a analogy for...never mind.
Have fun with funches!

2sparrow...I asked you for an example of "Free Will" pertaining to disobedience of God without consequences ...but your example is about someone who supposedly lied to someone else ...this is not disobedience against God...Abraham did everything that God asked him to do ....

you gave a bad example....you won't be able to find anything in the bible where someone used their "Free Will" to disobey God and didn't or wouldn't face retribution

You're question doesn't make sence funches. With every action their is a reaction. So of course anything you do with your free will, will have a reaction of some way or other.

ok thanks 2sparows, i wasn't to knowledgeable of abraham.

neither is 2sparrow....or he wouldn't have use Abraham as an example of someone that use their "Free Will" to disobey God.....the guy was going to kill his son because God asked him to do it ...but yet 2sparrow was trying to use Abraham as an example of disobedience

She was his half sister, this is different then being his sister.

Cowboy.....wow....so you feel that it's ok to marry your half-sister? .....

No i don't personally permit it. But again technically they weren't brother and sister and t'each their own lol.

Jeez Cowboy....I guess it's that time for your birds and the bees refresher course ....if you and someone else have the same father or the same mother....then they are either your brother or your sister

you are trying to promote incest

yeah i'm trying to promote it when i specifically said i didn't permit it.......... you're a very good listener funches, *pats funches on the back for trying to make me look bad and then make the belief in christ look the same by making it look like i promoted incest.

you said that technically they weren't brother and sisters....which mean you don't believe that those that have the same father but not the same mother or vice versa are not siblings and therefore it's ok for them to marry ....so yes you are promoting incest

Well since you took this discussion and threw it way out in left field, i am done with you funches. Hope you have a nice day :) May God guide you and keep you safe through your day(s)

Cowboy...and may Satan and his legion watch over you ......why do you guys always claim that you seek truth but once truth is given to you...you run away

You're question doesn't make sence funches. With every action their is a reaction. So of course anything you do with your free will, will have a reaction of some way or other.

Cowboy...you keep confusing "Newton's Laws of Motion" as being "Free Will" ...Free Will is that God will not interfer or influence your choices when it comes to having faith in him..."Free Will" is not about making a choice whether to take a dump or not and if there will be an opposite reaction from doing so

Yes exactly, free will is that we can do anything we want when we want. But with every action their is an equal reaction.

For instance simple example of what i'm refering to, you hit someone upside the head *action* they will usually hit back *reaction*.

You give someone a hug *action*, they hug back *reaction*

Same with all other actions one can take in life.

And along with your example

You can show love to God and God will show you love back. You can show the lack of love, and Satan will show you what lack of love means. No matter what ever happens, you always have the choice. That is free will........ having the choice

Cowboy..the topic is about knowledge granted by Satan which resulted in Adam and Eve being kicked out of the garden and this was because they didn't have "Free Will" to make a choice to disobey God without retribution ...so it is on topic ....

I know it was a shock for you to discover that Sarah was Abraham's sister because it collapsed your argument ....but recover and learn from it...don't use it as an excuse to run away

Again Funches i know it's hard to grasp but with EVERY ACTION there is an EQUAL REACTION. There is not one thing you can do in life at all without some form of reaction coming from it. NOTHING. So of course no one can not disobey God without some form of punishment as well as when one does something good for God that person is rewarded. Nottice the pattern? Action and reaction thing goin on.

2sparrow....are you trying to turn the debate into Jesus is God ...I can stop that with one simple question

if Jesus prayed to the father...then who did the father pray to...if your answer is no one...then the father is God ...not Jesus

so can you come up with another example

That's a little out in left field almost in the middle of no where funches.

You wanted to know one disobeying God without retribution, so he gave the example of peter denying Christ 3 times. So that's three examples right there.

again with "Newton's Laws of Motion" ...it's cool how the religious always run to science to explain something regarding faith...all I'm saying is you do not have the "Free Will" to disobey God without retribution ...do you agree or disagree
