I just found this website and find this fassinating there is a forum here. But I was thinking of this question a few days ago--people involved in work if they have a job. Or if they don't, how do they occupy themselves when searching for job is overwhelming? And what do you do if you want to go someplace(cost of gas etc). Then there are those who are going back to school--like me. Seems to me this environment is a bit stressful to be finding friend, lover,or otherwise. Just curious.

Life is what you make it. Maybe if you slow down a little bit (take a chill pill) life wont seem so stressful...

Oh, gas and believe it or not, (stuff) usually cost money. So if you don't have any money, you can't buy stuff... simple economics.

Although not high on the list of priorities, everything is balance, and that includes dating.

To keep a healthy outlook we manage to find ways for entertainment; dating is just a form of entertainment.

The best part is – dating means sharing costs (hopefully). winking

I agree with Tribbles just take it one day at a time, think about what is important first and chill pills worklaugh happy

I avoid stress, when I can.

Which, btw...is the reason I'm not dating atm.

If life gives you lemons you throw them at cars passing on the freeway!

Certainly the economics of dating has changed for me but I still have my own car, it may not be Land Rover I once had but what I have its mine. Where I live is not the 3500 sq ft home I once had but I have not had to move back in with my mom. Above all I am making it just fine.

It’s all about appreciating what you have and not worrying about what you don’t have.

Bottom line, Im still great guy and if that’s not enough for her that’s her issue, her loss and just not the right girl gor me.…..

I am just saying .

Just have friends and forget about dating. Dating can be expensive in any kind of economy.

No! You have to overexaggerate the story!

He was a super secret spy and was using you to get closer to a foreign national that was using his millions of dollars to fund an underground drug experiment on monkeys with lasers attached to their eyes. These drugs would give these monkeys super-human abilities and allow them to read our minds! Well, unfortunately for our super secret spy, he was found...and we deny any involvement in his disappearance.

I like to hope it is really just 50/50, but experience is showing otherwise, unfortunately.
