Last Sat I came home the power was out, duke said they're working on the problem, as I was sitting around I realized the thing that bothered me the most is not having internet access.
R you so addicted to interent that you cannot live without it for few hours... or is just me? |

I spend 2 hours max online, then turn it off for about 3 hours, then go back on for 2 and so on and so on...

i hate not having the internet im not always on but i like to know if i want to be i can haha

I would be okay without internet but I like getting answers faster and being able to pay bills, check on my accts, ect. I was actually just debating today if I should be calling now to get my internet connection transfered to my new house- I want minimal down time.

I am not saying I am always on it, when I am home, I log in for 10-15m minutes then get off, then get back on an hr or 2 later for another 10-15 and so on.... I have a life, you know.

When the Internet goes out here in Oregon, as it does often, I totally freak out, calling all over to see if it is just me or everywhere. I am soooo happy when everyone's is out :-) No food=no problem. No TV=no problem. No phone=no problem. No internet=End of the World as I know it. |

Actually there was a time, I turned it on with my am coffee and it was one of the last things I shut off at night. I then got so busy with life and just flat didn't have time to turn it on except for work. That I found I can take it or leave it now.

I don't spend hours on end on the net so if the power goes out I don't lose any sleep over it.Usually I read my mail,cruise a few sites & then go about my bussiness.
