And Democrats wonder why those of us they can't BS about their real intentions despise them and the ground they walk on ... Well, HERE's a really good reason - the stuff they couldn't pass when they were all concerned about getting RE-elected is on the table to be passed 'cuz they know now they'll NEVER get re-elected again BECAUSE of the crap they've ALREADY passed. Say 'DeathCare'. Say 'Stimulus'. It's a long list, so take a deep breath.
Now that they realize their Socialist / Progressive lustfest has screwed the pooch and they're being told 'bye-bye' forever, this is their petulant 'Eff YOU!, America!' response ... We tried to warn ya, but did ya listen ... ? "Hope" and "Change" ... riiiiiight ... Say bye-bye, Democrats ... The old sayin' is still true: Listen to what they say - believe what they DO. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ http://online.wsj.com/article/SB10001424052748704293604575343262629361470.html?mod=WSJ_Opinion_LEADTop JULY 9, 2010 The Obama-Pelosi Lame Duck Strategy Union 'card-check,' cap and trade, and so much more. By JOHN FUND Democratic House members are so worried about the fall elections they're leaving Washington on July 30, a full week earlier than normal—and they won't return until mid-September. Members gulped when National Journal's Charlie Cook, the Beltway's leading political handicapper, predicted last month "the House is gone," meaning a GOP takeover. He thinks Democrats will hold the Senate, but with a significantly reduced majority. The rush to recess gives Democrats little time to pass any major laws. That's why there have been signs in recent weeks that party leaders are planning an ambitious, lame-duck session to muscle through bills in December they don't want to defend before November. Retiring or defeated members of Congress would then be able to vote for sweeping legislation without any fear of voter retaliation. "I've got lots of things I want to do" in a lame duck, Sen. Jay Rockefeller (D., W. Va.) told reporters in mid June. North Dakota's Kent Conrad, chairman of the Senate Budget Committee, wants a lame-duck session to act on the recommendations of President Obama's deficit commission, which is due to report on Dec. 1. "It could be a huge deal," he told Roll Call last month. "We could get the country on a sound long-term fiscal path." By which he undoubtedly means new taxes in exchange for extending some, but not all, of the Bush-era tax reductions that will expire at the end of the year. In the House, Arizona Rep. Raul Grijalva, co-chairman of the Congressional Progressive Caucus, told reporters last month that for bills like "card check"—the measure to curb secret-ballot union elections—"the lame duck would be the last chance, quite honestly, for the foreseeable future." It's been almost 30 years since anything remotely contentious was handled in a lame-duck session, but that doesn't faze Democrats who have jammed through ObamaCare and are determined to bring the financial system under greater federal control. Many Democrats insist there will be no dramatic lame-duck agenda. But a few months ago they also insisted the extraordinary maneuvers used to pass health care wouldn't be used. Desperate times may be seen as calling for desperate measures, and this November the election results may well make Democrats desperate. |

Also if you look at President Bush's approval rating at this point in his Presidency it was over 20 points higher then Obama has now. Obama will be under 40% within six months.
Hell he's got 38% approval rating among Independant, which isn't good at all. He will be another Jimmy Carter. |

Ah but did I not say he was going to go down in history as being WORST than Jimmy Carter? Also when will the media finally admit openly that this is a DEPRESSION? Now for some HA HA factor. China is beginning to have Labor Upheavals. Workers are demanding more wages and striking En Mass. A lot of predictions are that the days of cheap Chinese goods may be over now! I can only hope! My BIG question though is how will the oil spill in the gulf affect American sensitivities over big business and energy policy? BP is a GLOBAL business. It isn't like they are English albeit in name. Transocean IS an American company! It was their well that went bang.\ Now about all that worthless bureaucracy on the State and Federal Levels! EPA, AQMD, Homeland Security, TSA? |

And somehow nobody wants to address what they're PLANNING to do once the voters hand 'em their assses on a plate in November ... THAT's the time they're the most dangerous, 'cuz they got nothing to lose anymore ... they'll screw us so bad then that the stuff they've already passed in 'The UN's first two years will look like a kindergarten play ...

" ... He could be Jimmy Carter, who was quite a brilliant man, but who was pretty much hated for being 'too diplomatic' or 'too nice',,except that he will have been leader when HEALTHCARE passed and possibly when a second DEPRESSON was avoided,,, " What a misreading of history ... Wilson, Roosevelt, LBJ, Carter, Clinton, and 'The UN' ... all 'Progressive Socialists' seeking to exert ever more centralized command and control (can you say 'Communist'?) over our nation, its economy, and its citizenry ... and now that 'The Littlest Communist' has successfully lied his way to the Big Boy Chair and begun his reign of destruction, the Dems are panicking that they won't be able to complete their task of disassembling our nation from the top down and inside out before people vote their sorry assses out of office and out of power ... Odd that THAT's not addressed ... and Carter was every bit the Socialist as every Democrat before him - and after him ... he was just too incompetent to get as far as 'The UN' ... |
