If a woman takes cares of her health, fitness, and gets involved in life, she can be attractive at any age. The same goes for a man. ... and has a good attitude. really???

If a woman takes cares of her health, fitness, and gets involved in life, she can be attractive at any age. Nice thought as I do all the above but it to a man's eye; the reality is I am not going to look any better no matter what I do. Nor will most men. Agreed; but I look past a man's looks; can't say the guys are the same with me. I think many gentleman on this site will agre with me. Navy, YOU ARE AN ATTRACTIVE LADY. You show a unique outlook to life, that can be appreciated by men that are secure in themselves. I would wager that the men that CAN"T appreciate you, are insecure in themselves. Many men haven't learned to appreciate strong women. (a point I think many other strong ladies will agree on) I learned to appreciate this quality. I believe that behind many successful men is an equal or better LADY. Couples like this compliment eachother & play to eachother's strengths. Like always....OPINION Thanks Sage for the kind words. I know the guys here are insecure but that certainly doesn't change my situation. You and old Hippie are of the few good men still out there.

Don and I are friends..he is a VERY good and nice person..Hippy, well he tells me he likes frozen marbles..so I'd watch out for him  ...just kidding! He is also a very good and nice man.

If an older woman feels her life lacks love, she should reach deep down in her and reach out to men she fancies :-)
Age isn't a barrier when it comes to matters of the heart and older ladies who yearn for love simply must cultivate a GO FOR IT personality and throw away imaginary inhibitions imposed by the society or by inner fears or fake modesty :-) If the men don't make the move, you make it :-) and if the man you fancy is decades younger than you, close your ears to what ppl will say and GO for him. Better you find love whatever it takes, than live dark, unhappy lonely lives |

Its true that some have given themselves over to the bulge and don't have a effective way of getting back and many do want a "hook-up" and nothing more (both sides of the aisle), Its more practical to try to shed the notions of you still being "All that" and enjoy the moments that were in. Its OK to want a relationship but when you encounter someone whos got a bunch of pounds or doesn't do or say all you might want, that there are times to lower your aim.

also, let us not forget that in this youth obsessed culture, male partners of a reasonable age are looking for younger models...additionally, now a days older females are labled as MILFS or Cougars...its hard to find "love" when everyone has you pegged as a horney ol lady looking to get laid... I think there's some truth in this. And then, the younger guys who "hunt" seem to have this penis thing where they assume we can't wait to get at that young thing pullease - they pretty much all look alike and by our age most of us have seen several
