Why is it so hard for a older women well.. I would assume that would depend on the partner and his age.. however.. the older people get.. the less likely it will be HARD for older women

I have the opposite problem seems to me being a genuine guy does you no favours these days shame Yep; listen to oldsage. Men don't like me for who I am either but I could care less. I am who I am and if they don't like it; oh well life goes on and so does living. You don't stop living just because you can't find a partner; just enjoy the ride. QUIT generalizing. I think there are more than you know that are impressed by YOU.    
Don is correct. Generalizing about people is usually a mistake. Most of us here are here because we don't have someone in our life at the moment. The moments are longer for some than others. I have found it difficult to find the right match up for me, but that doesn't mean I am unmatchable. It just means the right combination of traits haven't come together. And maybe they won't. But many men would consider Navygirl a prize to find. She is just in a difficult location. I am not Generalizing but simply stating a fact. I don't believe for one moment that there is someone for everyone and you may not be unmatchable but I am. Its simply logical and nothing more. You and Sage are kind but facts are facts. I have accepted this but doesn't mean I can't enjoy my friends on here.

I do not believe there is someone for everyone, because many men and women are too picky and will never find that match. However, I am always Open for a date, so I still have "Hope".

True and if a man has money and doesnt mind spending on her, He would have a good time and Love it. It is so funny how I see Older men say, they don't want a Younger woman. Well, it maybe cause they do not want to Spend any money on her. Or maybe they don't have it too spend. But if she said, "You don't have to have money," they would be On her like white on rice. Some may not have the Mojo to keep up with the Younger women anyhow.

So true. I never got what the interest in a younger person was. I prefer a guy my age as at least we would have some common ground for discussions and sharing things. What would I have in common with someone 20 or 30 years younger than me. I also thought a man with salt and pepper hair; with a few wrinkles to be very sexy. I could't get turned on by a baby faced boy but as we all do have our own preferences. As far as money goes; as long as he can pay his way; pay his own bills; I am good with that and happy to pay my own bills without use of his money. |

That is just another example of our instant gratification society. People feed themselves junk, most of their lives. Expecting their body to remain the same. So the drug companies develope a pill & make a fortune, heiping people to continue to live on junk. as a "former junk eater", I learned the hard way. Wonder why the the death rate is going up & the age of those dying is going down? |

I'm happy to be my age today..I wouldn't want to go back in time. And I'm just not attracted to older men who have an addiction to Barbie dolls or young women who are the same age as their daughters...Basically these type of men are just too shallow for me...If I ever decide to start dating again I know I will be looking for a needle in a haystack...But I won't mind waiting for the right man...My husband was my needle in a haystack. I waited 12 years to find him..And he was definitely worth the wait!
