Until I turn 30!


Any ideas for a party? Did you do anything exciting on your 30th birthday?

I had a baby 2 weeks before my 30th....so Um, no I didn't do much.

Whatever you do make it a good one..it's a landmark year!!

Lots of booze. Streamers.

Do a theme party.
Ask the guests to bring music from your birth era.
And dress from the 70's.

Do something that will challenge your fear. This thing called life is fleeting and it goes by like a bolt of lightning, so live it. Go skydiving, walk a suspension bridge with cables, and sway back and forth, go look for bear in the wild, not a tourist trap place and take a pic of it, take pilot training, go in a glider, a hot air balloon. If your scared of it......then challenge yourself and do it....You won't explode....

My outfit was in a 2 hour firefight in Viet Nam on my birthday. It doesn't get more exciting than that.

I don't remember. It's been 11,717 days since I turned 30.

Get ready for an amazing next decade and more.

Life only keeps getting better. Well IMHO anyway.

I was born 1980.

I don't know if I will get to do anything fear-defying but I'll consider it. Surprisingly, all but the firefight is nam, doesn't really invoke much fear in me.

I do not remember most of my thirtieth birthday evening thanks to Long Island Ice Teas and bar full of folks who bought me more than I could drink.

So no good suggestions from here. I messed mine up.

That means it's only 65 days until I turn 32.. .

For my 30th, I went to San Francisco and spent the day and evening with friends.

I trip to San Francisco would be wonderful, but probably not in the cards this year. I adore San Fran!

My ex wife had a huge surprise party for me, we went out to dinner with my parents then back to our house I unlocked the door and as I started to open it " SURPRISE" my place was a sea of people!

See!! Ex's have uses too !!

Been a long time since my 30th, but if I remember correctly, it seems my friends and I smoked a lot of pot and attacked an amusement park.

I'd still recommend the amusement park, but I gave up the other.

Well, I don't do the other... so that wouldn't be an option.

Closes amusement park is Cedar Point... and I think they just might still be open on the weekends around my birthday. It's an idea!

Theme and Costume party!!

It's a landmark year make it a night to remember!

One note though...enjoy your 30's!!! If I could go back and "do over" any period of my life it would be my 30's!!! They were awesome!!!

Theme/costume party is an idea... but most of my friend's aren't that creative or brave. lol.

I take every decade as it comes.... but I have a feeling my 50s will be my best decade. But, I am weird, I have no problem aging.

Had a huge dinner party with family and friends. Then went out to the Piano Bar, got hammered, sang karaoke, mooned a priest.....I went all out.
