there are worse things to watch... ever been to a dogfight? they ride whales at sea world, but i don't hear any griping about that.
they keep them locked up in a tank, where the cows and horses are kept in a pasture, freely to graze and run around. i fail to see what your so excited about.

Go to a salad bar and hold the staff at gunpoint while you fling the veggies to the floor and scream "run! You are free!!!!"

At a rodeo, half the people have guns. At a salad bar, you have much better odds.

This will help atone for all those veggies you have eaten.....you beast.

but it may seem inhumane at rodeos, but the spurring, cinching, and riding is only for a few seconds, 8 +, after that, they are put in a pasture and fed and watered till the next week, where it will happen for another 8 seconds.

Hmmm....I cannot comment on how often a bull is ridden in the one event/rodeo in the US...however, brumbys, bulls, and even poddy calves, are ridden way more than the one event here in Australia..

I'm a conservative vegetarian. I don't eat meat because it's not healthy with the crap that is fed to the animals therefore I don't care to put it in my body (and before ANYONE points out that we all still get chemicals and such.. yes I agree.. but I CHOOSE to not get it from a dead animal!) and I also don't eat meat because of the condition/health most animals are in when slaughtered and because of the nasty conditions of the processing plants. I would not attend a rodeo or any other animal show either because I just don't care to see animals mistreated in any way. Does this make me weird? Maybe.. but I just don't care for the practice of animal cruelty...
