i don't disagree with this, i kind of believe it myself. but this tragedy could have been easily avoided. and i would put all the blame on the feds on this one. the man was arrested at least 2 times before and not deported. it can also be looked at like it's an act of god to to help understand why we should be deporting too.

Story can be twisted to match anyone's views.. believe in God? Her Time to go? Just an accident?

No accident that a grown man got behind the wheel after drinking and killed someone... finally... what on his third time for a DUI? Third times a charm if you want to believe in fate? or karma?

Supposedly God gave mankind free will... and how mankind uses it is what creates the world we now live in. We have laws, most of which were based on God's law of respect and thoughtfulness of other people besides ourselves. The guy chose to drink and drive therefore he is responsible for this. But first of all he broke the law by being here illegally... so if he wasn't here on the road.. perhaps this accident may not have happened. Sure, the nun would have died.. but perhaps just a small private death... not one to make headlines and bring attention to such a thing as "illegal immigration" MADD should like this story also... as it helps their cause even further.

Then again... you could say God wanted this to happen... to point out that when the smallest laws are not abided by...(illegal entry) a chain of consequences may occur. So maybe God willed this to happen to point out the problem of illegal immigration and the nun was Job in this case. All of this if you want to believe in God.

But you don't have to believe to know that it is wrong...

Twist it how you want... the guy had no business being on the road... period. Illegal, drunk etc. And he certainly did not learn anything from his previous 2 episodes of receiving a DUI. The enforcement of the laws that are already in place have become too lax in fear of retaliation from groups proclaiming "racist, unfair, etc." The people who live and work here legally are just not adequately being protected any longer. And yes, that does make people think with the mentality of if the law won't or can't do the job.. well the people will do it themselves. Not saying that is right... but people do tend to think in terms of self preservation...

The guy drank... and drove... It is not an unexpected event that people are not as capable at operating automobiles after consumption. The chance of being unable to operate a vehicle safely is not an accident. It is a fact that reflexes and perception are much less after drinking. He purposely got behind the wheel...after already having had previous DUI's, so not an accident.

honestly, you can't find them all? are u insane? they not only found him, but caught him twice. and let him go to kill someone finally. is that justice in america? wake up, there is a problem here and peoples coddling is not going to help. sure, there is lots of LEGAL people here that drive drunk, but why should we have to put up with the ILLEGAL breaking more than one law at a time????

Also I'm not coddling anybody. The guy really should have been deported. George W. shouldn't have been voted in a 2nd term. Steve Irwin should have watched out for the sting ray. Your right though. We shouldn't have to deal with illegals breaking the law, but honestly does it make a difference if they are legal, illegal or a paralegal? The law was still broken. I just see people as people. If I show compassion for a guy who's life sucks. He's a raging alcoholic and his disease lead him to accidentally kill somebody. Now he get's to spend prison time and then get deported back to Village of the dead Donkeys. An that makes me seem "insane" then I'm happy. At least I know I'm doing something different than the method that fails miserably.

if someone is here ILLEGALY, they should be deported. we as legals here have to follow the laws or else. why should someone from another country do as they please not not follow the laws when we have to. they don't pay taxes, we do... they don't vote, we do.they can break any law and go home, we pay for it. it doesn't matter what country they are from, they need to do things the right way. it is really not that hard to find them...but who cares about finding them when the damned GOVERNMENT JUST LETS THEM GO ANYWAY? i'm not trying to call anyone names, they had this piece of $#%# at least 2 times, and let him go. if there is no respect for enforcing the law, no one will respect it.

If I ever did something illegal and got caught my defence would be discrimination. Why are you pressing charges on me, is it because of my skin color or hair color? Why do you pick and choose laws that you prosecute? It has to be descrimination. Then I will bring in the illegal arguement who EACH ONE is committing a FELONY for just being here.

Is it not enough that they are committing a Felony by being here illegally, so obviously breaking the law doesn't bother them.
