Wow, according to the latest poll's Obama is going down faster then the Titanic and Monika Lewinski put together.

The USA Today's poll is at 41%.

Gallop Poll Obama's approval rating is at 42%.

Opinion Dynamics 42%.

Fox News Poll 43%.

Quinnipiac 44%.

CBS 44%.

New York Times 44%.

Marist College 44%.

Rasmussen Reports 45%.

USA Today, Gallop and Opinion Dynamics have always been the most accurate polls and also the ones the campaigns go by.

I bet by November he will be in the 30's. One term President here we come. I bet Jimmy Carter will have had more votes in 1980 then Obama when all is said in done in 2012. drinks

It all depends upon perceptions and priorities

if we go only on economy, OBama wouldnt fare well, but I doubt history will be that shallow in its judgment

OBama will be amongst the best history has seen,,

"He did more than live up to the standards of the time," Reagan proclaimed of Washington, "He set them." The first president was able to do so because he possessed "a vision of the future" and "exceptional character." Ronald Reagan on George Washington

Only history will decide the success of a presidency. If the incredible national debt is viewed as a major cause of the fall of the US as a world power, Obama will go down as one of the worst presidents in history.

Today, congress passed a bill to extend the manned space program by a few shuttle flights and to take a closer look at a Mars program specifically to counter the elimination of the NASA manned space program by Obama. If history views effects on manned spaceflight as a score of a president's effectiveness and vision of the future, Obama will get failing grades.

Thousands of people are facing layoffs due to Obama's attempted elimination of the manned spacecraft program. History may find that his diversion of billions of dollars to programs that do nothing to help the US in general while eliminating highly skilled jobs in states that are anticipated to vote Republican will not go unnoticed.

For all the "talk" Obama gave about actually helping the space program, the layoffs are starting now.

Nice rhetoric. Too bad, that the recession started in 2007 (some were pointing out the upcoming storm as early as 2004), even from the conservative, most rabid right wing economists.

It's good to find a scapegoat and pack all the problems on it, kick it in the rear and see if things gets better, once the goat has left the town.

For anyone else, having curiosity and independent and can think on his own read through:

It dont matter what the polls claim, its the people who will know that Oblowme is the worst president ever.

He is going to knock Carter out of the top spot.

There hasn't been one thing that Obama has been blamed for yet that is legitimately his to shoulder the blame.

The approval ratings really mean very little as to a presidents accomplishments.

People approved of GW, close to the worst president we have ever had, because they weren't paying attention to what was really happening.

People are disapproving of Obama because they aren't paying attention to what is really happening.

Wrong. People ARE paying attention to whats happening. Thats why Nov 2nd is going to be "flush the toilet day" with most of the incumbent politicians.

Not. I have been paying attention to the polls.

How ironic. You discuss "having curiosity and independent and can think on his own" then post a biased website specifically targeted at people who cannot think on their own. If you compare the "facts" in your website you find extreme bias and false "accomplishments".

For example, canceling the manned space program was all Obama. The current efforts by congress to extend it till he "goes away" are a stopgap measure to correct gross stupidity. The retention of high tech jobs and space skills are at stake.

Even his advisers and admirers have stated that announcing a deadline for exiting a war situation was at best, unwise, and at worst unbelievably stupid.

The moratorium on offshore drilling is moving the industry overseas costing jobs, energy production, and allowing foreign firms to acquire US technology. Where is his 100 million dollars coming from to fix a problem caused by him?

Anyone who can "think ... on his (or her) own" would be aware of the number of Obama supporters who are appalled at what he has and has not done in the past two years.

Your posted website is a classic example of "spin" at it's finest. But it does appear to fill the bill for people who cannot think for themselves.

The leftists cannot think for themselves. They rely on the media and the govt. to do their thinking for them.
