there is no place "jesus", or the bible, says not to judge other's, period. it has been taught that it does, by words from human mouth, that DID NOT WANT TO BE JUDGED THEMSELF, by their friends, follower's, and own families. No Jesus doesn't specially blurt out for us not to judge. But here's some verses to ponder on about judging others. Matthew 7:1 1Judge not, that ye be not judged. --------------------------------------- Matthew 7:2 2For with what judgment ye judge, ye shall be judged: and with what measure ye mete, it shall be measured to you again. So you can see, Jesus says DO NOT JUDGE. If you do judge, YOU WILL BE JUDGED WITH THE SAME. So Jesus tells us not to judge and tells us the punishment for doing as such. |

Cowboy I think you are having a hard time understanding what is blind and wrongful judgment and what is righteous and biblical doc terned judgment. You also seem to never reply to what Jesus said when he said "Do not judge according to appearance, but judge with righteous judgment" (John 7:24).What is Jesus saying to you?He is saying #1 Blind judgment with out facts is wrong. #2 We are suppose to judge using righteous judgment(knowing the facts). I am growing tired of explaining this to you as I already have no less than 5 times already.If Christians are not supposed to judge anyone for any reason what is the purpose of the bible telling us to stay away from and not to associate with adulterers,drunks,murders,homosexuals,thieves,and the hundreds of other ungodly,unholy,the bible talks about?If you truly believed Jesus was talking about not judging anyone for any reason then we would accept everyone despite how wicked they were living their lives and never reprehend them,never tell them what they were doing was biblical wrong? Answer me this?If you saw the pastor of your church coming out of a strip club would you turn a blind eye and ignore it or would you confront the pastor and tell him what he was doing was wrong and sinful?Would Jesus turn a blind eye or scold the pastor?I know what Jesus would do and he would not ignore what he just saw. Who was Jesus baptized by?John the baptist.Was John not using righteous judgment when he was screaming at King Herrod by telling him he was a sinner by involving himself in an adulterous relationship?Jesus didn't think so.You think Jesus would say John was a sinner for calling King herrod an adulterer?He would not because Herrod was a married man and was having a affair with his niece.Much like a court case the evidence has been presented and the party has been found guilty. And Christianity teaches not to judge for it is better not to judge. For we will be judged with the same measure as we judge other. Or as it goes "judge not lest ye be judged". This judgement is reffering to has nothing to do with choices, judging between two things. It is judging someone for their doings and therefore treating them on as such. As in if you know someone killed someone or did some horrific crime, we are not to treat them any differently then say the pastor at a church. There is only one sin greater then any other and that is denying the lord thy God. The rest of the sins are all equal. And therefore no one is better or greater then any other person. We are all equal and fall short of the glory of God, therefore we are not to judge anyone for we're no better then them, so who are we to judge? |

Nothing special as in i will be judged just as you or anyone else. We will all be judged for our actions we took on this earth. Jesus offers forgiveness for our sins if we wish to take it. Evidently you don't believe in Jesus. You reject his words. You refuse to believe that you will be saved if you simply believe in him. If you're going to believe in Jesus son, you've got to take the PLUNGE and actually BELIEVE. All you do is wishy-washy around being totally unsure whether Jesus will save you or not. Thus you are basically proving to everyone, including Jesus, that you don't believe in him and His WORD. If you're going to call yourself a "Christian" you've got to BELIEVE brother! Jesus saves! Well, it's crystal clear why you feel so unsure of yourself. You don't seem to have totally given over to the idea that Jesus can indeed be TRUSTED to save you with absolute certainty. You doubt the words of John in the scriptures, and thus you probably have doubts about the whole entire fable. |

Jesus said "Do not judge according to appearance, but judge with righteous judgment" (John 7:24). "He who justifies the wicked, and he who condemns the just, both of them alike are an abomination to the LORD" (Proverbs 17:15). "And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather expose them" (Ephesians 5:11). Leviticus 19:15. "You shall do no injustice in judgment. You shall not be partial to the poor, nor honor the person of the mighty. But in righteousness you shall judge your neighbor." "I wrote to you in my epistle not to keep company with sexually immoral people. Yet I certainly did not mean the sexually immoral people of this world, or with the covetous, or extortioners, or idolaters, since then you would need to go out of the world. But now I have written to you not to keep company with anyone named a brother, who is a fornicator, or covetous, or an idolater, or a reviler, or a drunkard, or an extortioner -- not even to eat with such a person. For what have I to do with judging those also who are outside? Do you not judge those who are inside? But those who are outside God judges. Therefore 'put away from yourselves that wicked person'" (1 Corinthians 5:9-13). "Dare any of you, having a matter against another, go to law before the unrighteous, and not before the saints? Yet do not count him as an enemy, but admonish him as a brother" (2 Thessalonians 3:14,15). "Teach and exhort these things.
