Hot bath and epsom salts. At the very least soaking in the hot bath. And an aleve or aspirin. You don't have anything like Icy/Hot handy? Or horse liniment? Love that stuff.

Eat some bananas. The potassium helps too.

The bath....massage....and walking....your muscles are tight and need to be loosened up....believe it or not...exercise DOES help.

You already have if you are in pain....take the bath with the salts....massage a little and just walk around your house....if you sit....they will get stiff....move it...move it!.....lol

if you can`t think of why it`s so sore..maybe it`s something else..

I just recently purchased a little gadget called DR. HO it sends electronic pulses into the infected area...suppose to help in healing by bringin new blood to the injured muscles...

3 things...

Keep stretching it out to keep it loose...

Put some Icy Hot or Tiger Balm on it (much stronger than Bengay).....

Take Ib Profen to lower the inflamation.....

All these will just help ease the pain. You just have to give it time and let the muscle heal.

Take a damp towel and heat it up in the microwave.

Wrap the warm towel around the area.

Stretch the leg muscles gently.

All the hot towels/ hot bath crap feels good but is working against you.

Switch it up with cold compresses/ice packs/frozen steel.

Extreme cold forces blood away from the surface and reduces swelling quickly. (This is why every pro cut man keeps a piece of steel in an ice bucket)

Hot towels are soothing but, the heat increases inflamation.

Take my word for it bro. I spent 22 years in my dads fighting school and have dealt with all sorts of crap.

Motrin is the best anti-inflammatory available over the counter.
