I liked crash a lot.

One of the things I really like about Netflix is that it makes it so easy to go backe and see the movies I missed the first time around. I just watched Pretty Baby (1978). I picked it because I love Susan Sarandon, but prepubescent Brook Shields was absolutely delightful (and seductive. Made me suspect that I may be a pedophile).

art YOU ARE SO FUNNY!

Though her part wasn't as big, Brooke Shields is in the excellent 1977 horror flick Alice, Sweet Alice(aka Communion).

One of my best friends works in sound in Hollywood. He rubs elbows with a lot of movie stars, and he got to know Brook Shields some. According to him, she is the most ridiculously nice person in Hollywood. She steals food from the catered meals that they have on the set and takes it out for any homeless people that happen to be around. she talks to her mother on the phone each and every day.

Recently rewatched Suspiria, one of my favorite horror films, what it lacks in plot it more than makes up for in visuals and sound- vivid colors, atmosphere, sets. And Goblin's score.

You mentioned pie, which reminded me of a good indie movie, Humble Pie I think is the name of it.

Yeah, as far as their Instant goes they're behind. But their regular mail they're not too bad, some new movies they are a little slow on, but not much.

I just watched "Fat Head" this weekend, it's a very interesting documentary about food and diet. The movie starts out as a response to "Super Size Me", but quickly turns into much more.

VERY clever dialogue, huh? Did you watch on "instant view"? I got through season one, then found that season two isn't on instant view. Damn! I want to know if they can get it together after the aborted wedding. Where can it go from here?

If you like Californication, you will love Weeds. Same quick wit and dialogue. More plot twists, Great characters. AND, it has Mary Louise Parker. (My David Duchovny). I always knew she was cute and sexy. I never knew she was so funny.

I love netflix.
I watched The Machinist
I liked it. Christian Bale gave a disturbing performance.
So use to seeing him as sexy and here he was NOT NOT NOT.

PRIMER was one of those surprises. It was really good. The story was so interesting that the low budget effect really didn't matter or maybe even added to the story.

Castle gets 3 and a half stars for my Netflix rating. That's pretty good.

That was a good movie.

Have you seen the movie Falling Down? I think that's the name of the movie. This guy gets fired from work and has quite an adventure as he deceides to walk home. It's a good thriller.
