I presume that's a preference I'd have known about B4 getting to the point of being engaged

but were it to come up out of nowhere as a New Thing - no- non negotiable

I knew she tried it but nothing more than a curiosity but now she's wanting it as a lifestyle choice but wants to keep the engagement, open marriage sort of thing.

well u knew it about her beforehand so that is a consideration - u prolly can't get too upset then

but we all have our limits - tell her what yours are i guess -has u guys ever discussed it before?

Is this like a Honeymoon gift she is wanting?

Dude, you are heading straight into a real National Dramagraphic moment here. I can say this, you have to evaluate whether or not you can tolerate her wanting to swing while you don't want to. If you are having a moral dilemma then maybe going separate ways is better than trying to make it work when it more than likely won't.

That's true you did know about it before.
But the past is forgiven, it's over.
Future spouse doesn't sleep around.

Yes we discussed it intellectually in depth. But my heart and soul can't get passed accepting of her choice. The next day she calls to make a compromise and says she will give it up but I would have to give up the idea of having a kid with her as she refuses to have another child. Rational yet manipulative.

Oh its a done deal, got the ring back and all, just shocked that she would accept the engagement but soon after totally change her mind.

My ex-husband wanted to do it after we had been married a few years....that is one of the reasons he is the ''EX''.

If you aren't into that life-style, I think it is best she become an ''ex'' fiance before she becomes an ''EX'' wife.

thank. I also know that her previous marriage ended in divorce after ten years and that at the end they had an open marriage. She claimed that he was the one who was a sex addict and broke even the very few rules they had left. now I realize that I never got his side of the story. I'm sure he isn't the only one.
