Well she's not one of those normal fluffballs is she?;-)

OK, I am not making this up. I got an e-mail
from someone who read my profile and went on
to say "I can tell by your profile that
you're a good writer" and that she actually
"wished it was longer."
Of course, I explained that I couldn't make
it any longer because stuff starts disappearing
off the bottom if I don't remove something
else beforehand.
But the point stands. Wait, I forgot what
the point is. Oh, right, the point is that
there are still people out there who appreciate
endless, lengthy ramblings about whatever it
is that's in my profile these days.
And that says something. Probably.
I want to thank her for her kind words and
support for my overblown literary endeavors.
As for the rest of you, you can all learn
something from this. You can learn that it
takes just over 4 years for someone to notice
that your profile is really really long and
still say something nice about it.
If it is, I mean.

Heck I have had guys tell me mine is too long think next time I will send them to read yours...

Kristi, I get that all the time. They say "Hey, I just read your profile. Where do you live and what do you do?" And I say, "That's in my profile, maybe you should go back and read it again." And they say "Why don't you just tell me?"

Usually, right after that, they ask if I want to see their "private" pics on Yahoo. I say no, I drop a little note to Admin, they're gone in 10 minutes. I love efficiency!

I guess that means it'll take decades or possibly even centuries for anyone to notice mine, being that it's rather short and non descriptive.

well some guys are to lazy to read profiles.

I have read your profile a couple of times Lex and found it very interesting. I think that is the difference between those that are serious about getting to know people and those that don't want to take the time....jmo

Yeah, I think so, too -- especially after I've read 14,882,945 consecutive profiles which say "I don't know what to write here"....! How serious can I get about someone who gives me nothing to work with....?! It doesn't have to be long to be good, it just has to say something about the person....I don't see many of those, but I always enjoy reading them.

Believe me those are ones I leave behind real quick. If they can't take the time to read then they most likely can't hold a conversation as well....
