slavery isnt always bad

there are times when it is necessary to submit to authority, but thats another topic

insurance is a good idea, everyone should have it, otherwise those who do have it will continue to pick up the tab for all the unpaid bills of those who dont

took a while for people to 'accept' abolition, took a while to 'accept' medicare, even took a while to 'accept' taxation,,,but it will happen, it has to to keep up with the rest of the globe

Income tax required a constitutional amendment to allow the federal government to act. There is no such amendment for Obamacare.

The income tax is actually an illegal tax it was never officially ratified by enough of the states.

As for this, good riddance. We're already slaves enough to the system.

It was ratified on Feb. 3, 1913. Several additional states (over what was required) ratified it subsequently, and several states never ratified it. Three states never considered ratifying it.

Sorry I'll keep my freedom thank you, or at least what's actually left of it anymore in lieu of being a slave to big government.

The supreme court may see it differently. There have been a lot of 4/5 votes and this will probably be one of them. I have a pretty good guess which way the Obama appointees will go.

Of course the information has to be skewed huh?

There are two judges who have determined it unconstitutional and many MANY judges who have determined it constitutional.

So why are we not talking about the many instead of the one?

If car insurance can be ordered by law, why not health insurance?

Because this judge was the one who heard the case, don't know about the "other judges".

The supreme court might kill the whole thing or they may kill only parts deemed unconstitutional. Its hard to say what will happen as Obama may not even challenge it at this point.

How about....our health is none of their business? Hell if they gave a damn about our health they'd stop poisoning us with all the garbage in our food, our air and our water, that keeps us reliant on them. Little hypocritical to put the onus on us when THEY are a big part of the problem no?

I don't agree with mandatory car insurance anymore than I agree with this. Wanna take a guess at which lobby wrote the mandatory auto insurance law??? If the government can force anyone to buy health insurance then there is no limit to what they can impose on us while they themselves do not have to abide by the law(s). They can effectively force you to eat broccoli twice a day or pay a penalty, if you are over weight they can force you to join a gym, if you have bad teeth they can prohibit you from sweet stuff...essentially taking away our liberties and treating us a subjects and I say FKCU YOU FEDERAL GOVERNMENT!

You can chose to not own a car. That is a big difference right there.

You can constitutionally choose to not buy health insurance which Hussein and the Pelosicats seemed to forget! There also those who think that if you do not own your own insurance and you go to the hospital w/ a heart attack and cannot pay for it you die! I disagree with that one but I am just one person.

Many my left eye...

Two say un-constitutional...

Two say constitutional...

as far as OFFICIAL rulings.

anyone else that is flapping pen or jaw about it is simply adding to the political green phosphorus cloud...

Those four are the only judges that have sat in actual judgement and had to issue a ruling.

Lets at least be honest with our spin.
