although I relate to your sentiment, I can explain what sometimes happens fairly simply

america=land of freedom

consent=freedom

many women are very CONSENTUAL to what you are considering being 'used'

In america , there is a huge disfavor with FORCING anything upon anyone for any reason,,,,so it is considered worse(too many, myself not included) for women to be forced to cover up, than it is for women to willfully walk around half naked and men to hop from the bed of one to another

I think you'd find that many Americans, if not most, recognize the hypocrisy of the nation in general and the hypocrisy of its mainstream religion.

You need to keep in mind that the people who truly create the world image of a nation are not the quiet vast majority, but rather the loud minority who are in power whether it be political power or financial power. In fact, it's usually the financially powerful people who create the image of America.

Surely even you don't condone everything that everyone does in your social culture, nor are you likely to agree with everyone who is in a position of power or who actually contributes to the world image of the nation you might be from.

But yes, there are even many Americans who see the hypocrisy of religious fanatics who preach so-called "moral values", all the while condoning precisely the opposite behavior.

I have not traveled out of the US (except to Canada), but for years, I was an aficionado of chat rooms in various venues.

I was consistently approached by men from the Mid East, India, and other parts of the world who wanted nothing more than to have sex talk or see me naked on cam.

Don't play "holier than thou"--your own country has the same double standards as does the US. You just cover up the activities that we bring out in the open.
