To find that one true love that you will or would like to spend the rest of your life with ?

Like would you rather stay single.

Be happy having a close friend.

Have friends that are more then just a friend.

Or would you just rather find true love and be happy that your hope and search has finally come true.

And or would you rather stay single and be happy just knowing that you don't have no body to fight with about bills and other daily things etc.

it is very important to me
i want to find someone to grow old with and have just one person to learn his dislikes, likes, etc.
but--i am patient and willing to wait til the right person comes along
plus there are more important things like health, my children, grandson

Since I created the topic and didn't answer the question. I will now.

I find it important at least to me to find true love or close to true love. I mean I too am sick of being single and lonely and no body to have fun with and hang out with, talk to on the phone etc.

As far as kids goes, I would like to have one or more some day when the time is right but until then finding love and spending time together with that one would be fine with me, until we are both ready to have kids and all.

It's important, but I've been married twice, divorced twice, and I can accept growing old(er) alone if that's what my future holds in store.

I'll take an order of true love. leave out the drama, and a class of classyness with that.

Have to have love, friends are nice, and a wonderfull thing to have. But what about me? (about damn time I ask that question).

I'll stick with monkeys, Cheez Whiz, Cool Whip, peanut butter and good friends who know how to use all of the above without geting stuck on themselves (or me) in the process...

I have been divorced twice... made foolish choices because I was young, naive and thought I knew it all. The greatest part right now about living on my own and supporting myself and my kids without any help is that NO ONE BUT ME CAN MESS UP WHAT I'VE GOT GOING...
But eventually, finding someone to share life with... split things 50/50... have someone to baby me when I'm sick and someone I can baby when they are... lol... someone to make the road a little more enjoyable... it would definitely be nice. I'm a hopeless romantic... so I keep hoping oneday, someday, it'll happen.

Unfortunately, for the here and the now, it is next to impossible to date... my kids are young, and I have them all the time. So I've come to accept the lonliness... come to terms with my responsibilities... and I just keep my head up knowing that kids grow up... so right now it is their time to have me...and in about 10-14 years, when they are in college, then I can take the time to focus on me and my life.

Does this make sense? Lol

I spent most of my life in an endless series of revolving-door short-term relationships (3-6 months) which really worked well for me, until I met someone I really truly wanted to be with permanently.

Having seen what it's like to be totally in love, I don't think I could ever go back to the old ways. I figure I really want to see if there's any possibility that there could be another "right person" out there. I'd rather be alone than be with the "wrong person" 87 more times.
