Topic: How to avoid the "friend" stage?

I would really like some girls to tell me why is it when a guy (like myself) is nice to a girl, and is always good to her and always treats her like she deserves to be treated, she starts to refer to him as a (friend). and then that's all you'll ever be. how do I not fall into that? Am I doing something wrong? or what. please fill me in lol.

Cause you might not be making your intentions clear. Women aren't mind readers either so if you don't tell them they wont know. Its kinda simple really. Be upfront be yourself and be direct with what you want. Doing that should help keep you out of the friend zone.

Whilst still maintaining to be nice, make it perfectly clear that if given the opportunity you would hump the living daylights out of her.

I wouldn't over-worry it.
Most chicas select a love interest from
the group of friends surrounding them.

Well, i'm not over worried about it, and I do make my intentions clear... there's just sometimes that it feels as if I said or done something (unintentionally) that gives them bad signals. that's what confuses me more is that I already do what most people tell me to in that situation... I guess it's because that was just a few girls that didn't appreciate it...there's more out there.

Generally, if one hasn't told her, then she probably doesn't know it.

Otherwise, if she does know, she just simply may not consider you her type.

I have two guys who I consider friends, but have to keep at a distance. They know I'm not interested in them beyond friendship, but if I talk with them more then once a week, they get obsessive and start calling me multiple times a day. So, I'm basically stuck cutting them back off and avoiding them till they cool down. It's really frustrating that they don't respect me enough to drop the issue and stay friends. Take's the fun out of going out to a movie with someone or lunch or whatever.

Yeah, I see what you mean.
But the last girl i tried to go after
acted like she was into me. i guess she did it for attention.
The mind of a woman is a beautiful thing, but damn is it confusing lol.

Wats up bro. I'm not a lady lol, but I've all the same issues you have. Even as far as a 5 year marriage with one. I don't claim to know the mind of a woman, but I've realized a thing or two. It was definitely my chivalry that she fell in love with, but you need to have a little bit of a bad boy edge to keep her. Trust, sincerity, and understanding are only part of it. They also need some excitement, mystery, and a man to fulfill that inner bad girl. I'm thinkin men and women are all to similar in what we want in each other- I loving parent, an understanding spouse, and an exciting lover. Good luck bro!

I think that perhaps you should take some initiative and ask her out. if she accepts then clearly she wants to be more than just your friend. I find more interest in someone (that I already like) when they clearly show they are interested but at the same time aren't over doing it with the flirting.

I don't know about anyone else, but I like men who have a touch of bad boy in them. I like a guy who will open doors for me and SOME stuff like that but I get turned off if someone takes it to extremes. Don't ever pull out a chair for me ... lol That's too much for me.

I don't know all the details about your situation but I personally would just turn around and walk away from any girl like that. You shouldn't have to change your "game" (assuming it's being done in an acceptable way) for someone else. Change it up a bit .. maybe. But just be yourself and that's all that matters. I expect people to be upfront and honest with me right from the start .. because that's how I am.

And you know what .. this guy is absolutely right. Not that everyone works that way ... but it does for me.

Well tks wolf. It is just my opinion from my experiences. God is great to hear a woman say I'm right! Lmao! Its been so long since I've heard it! Have you ever seen the movie " A Bronx Tale?". There's a scene saying how to know if you found a keeper. If I unlocked and opened the car door for you, by the time I closed it and walked around to the drivers side would you unlock the drivers side door?

Its a simple thing Daniel, but your chivalry shouldn't go w/o return.

everyone is a friend, until they are more,,,,it starts that way,,,,

but communication is key,, dont just be the passive 'friend', engage in conversation and find out what makes her tick, what she is interested in and convey to her what makes you tick and what you are interested in,,,

If the chick you are hoping to hump ain't your friend ....then, it is just a piece of meat.

You can get that from a $10 hooker.

If you are "just a friend"....take her drinking. If the night ends with you two just being friends...it is what it is...and you still have a friend.

If not, you will get laid THEN figure out if you are friends.....or you just humped something that is so embarrassing that you won't admit to it sober.
