No, cheating is deal breaker for me. Even if I still loved him, I would not stay with him. I would never cheat on someone, therefore I expect the same of the person who I am dating/married. One of my life philosophies is "Do unto others, as you would have them do unto you."

There are many heartbreaking things that couples can do to each other. I believe in giving people, including a significant other, a second chance. People are not infallable. Everyone makes mistakes. They would lose my trust; but if I truly love them with all my heart, I would hope that I could forgive...in time.

i went through that enough times with my ex hubby before during and after we got married
no i never saw him cheat. but my friends did and family
when i was pg with my son
i had a friend that was having a tough time in her marriage so i let her stay
and that nite he tried to get down her pants she kept brushing him away all nite
she had appt that she had to go to. she called me later to let me know what he had tried
while i was on the phone with her i confronted him.. he totally denied it but he was also laughing.. i told him point blank while i was on the phone with my friend that i belive her more than i did him... he didnt say much after that

now if i have a relationship
there is going to be a small test and if they fail there history
i also will have my daughter confront them.
yea my daughter... i mention something about this guy i was seeing awhile back on what he said for he pist me off and my daughter said tell him to take a freaken leap.
i dont talk to my daughter about her relationships much but when it comes to mine she is totally protective

I forgave...and in doing so, merely caused him to realize he had gotten by with it, and he did it again...and again....and again......soooooooo...NO. Not ever again! If they aren't happy in every aspect of the relationship, they need to move on....simple as that.

Yes it definetly does change your whole perspective on the relationship, it kills any little bit of trust you might have had.

Mistakes are one thing, but cheating? Is that really just a simple mistake people make that deserves a second chance? Does it deserve more than a second chance if they keep cheating? Can you truly love someone you don't trust?

It happened to me and I tried to forgive him. I really did. But something died inside of me, not only trust I believe. It changed me as a person. I always say to my friends it was like believing in Santa...once you know the truth thats it. I dont think I will ever be able to forgive something like cheating.
