My daughter Cassie will soon be pain free, we hope, for the first time in her 29 years. She is scheduled for a total hip replacement on Sept. 20th. I will head to Portland Sept. 24th for a week to help care for Amelia, (who will be 2 yrs. old on Thursday!
 ), and her almost 3 month old brother Samule. This will be the first time I will lay eyes and hands on Sam...and I also hope to get the chance to meet my second granddaughter, Baylee, during that visit also. Baylee will be 1 yr. old Oct. 29th. I am so excited to see my grandbabies and hope this surgery proves successful for my daughter.
