Are you one of those people who can go out and enjoy yourself whether you have company or not? Or, do you need someone with you to go out and do things?

For example, there is a concert you want to see, but your friends/bf/gf are busy. Do you go alone or skip it?

Or, if you want to go to happy hour, but no one is available to go with, do you go alone and chat with people sitting next to you? Or do you stay home?

I'm sure there are lots of examples others can think of as well.

I do stay home often..., and although I do on occasion decided to venture out on my lonesome...I am shy by myself and get bored easily. Yea sure sometimes I may decide to chat up a stranger while out paying bills or grocery shopping but, I always find it ackward. So yea I'm one of those people who like to go out and enjoy my friends and the connections I have with them and if no one is available I stay in and I'm safe until someone is available to have a good time.

99% of the time, when I go out, it's by myself.

I have relatives, but no family; and I have few in-person close friends.

I'm really a loner by nature, even though I've been married and divorced twice, and had countless girlfriends.

It gets lonely at times, but I don't really mind it most of the time.

For me, it's pretty much a way of life.

ya i would go with friends sometimes i'm too quiet an shy to go to places by myself but if its to see a friends band or something an there local an others can't go i will go to that other then that im usaully with a small group either that im usaully by myself

I do everything on my own. Not by choice, but just because there's no one around to do anything with.

Are you kidding? Im my best company..lol. I loved doing things by myself, but dont have the opportunity to since becoming a mom again.

Not kidding at all. I've found that a lot of people refuse to go out and do things on their own.

I live in a small, but busy city, so there's always stuff going on. If I haven't made plans already, I will more often than not go out and find something to do on my own.

There's always live music around. And there's a bar right around the corner that I can pretty much guarantee will have interesting people to chat with.

I never understood the deal with movies and why people don't like going to them alone. If I want to see a movie, but there's no one to go with, I'm not going to sit around and wait for them!

i dont usually like to go out on my own... mainly because i'm too shy actively try and meet new people... so i would probably just end up bored and go home early... but it depends on the situation...

I rarely do things on my own because I usually have someone with which to do things. There are certain things I do alone because it just works out that way.

I do everything on my own. But there are things I refuse to do that would put me in danger. Like evening fun extra-curricular activities, not so much. Why would I expose myself to danger. Single women are a target where I live.

If I want to watch a movie, I watch a movie. I want a drink, I make a drink. Some things I can live without.

What activities do you want to do that would put you in danger?

Well anything that involves going out at night. Drinks, listening to bands, going to the movies after dark. It is the after dark that stops me. Its just not safe. Why put myself in danger?

Right now it is a moot point. I can't afford anything more than a walk around the house. LOL

Hummm well it all depends there are times it would be nice to have someone go with and do things. But then other times it does not bother me and I just go do it..

As far as movies either with someone or alone is no problem.

If I want to go get a drink I tend to hit the local spots by myself. At times there are places I would like to go try but don't cause I don't want to go by myself at that time and moment.

I mean I'm not going to go play putt putt by myself for it gets a bit boring by yourself at times..

Actually there are things I will do alone at times and sometimes I don't want too.. therefore I choose to stay home instead.

But heck at times you can be with someone and still feel alone... so it is not always a matter of having someone to go with you.

Don't laugh, it's true...I am rather shy. Years of having my self esteem stomped on hasn't helped either. I am trying to get out and do things, but I find it hard sometimes.

The only things i can do on my own are housework, watch tv, listen to music, other stuff people usually do at home. I can't go outside alone, as i'm aggraphobic. A few things made me that way.

A group of what?

I usually stay home. But when I do go out I preferr that it be with someone. To me doing something nice is always better when you have someone to share it with.
