Does's a person 'voice" turn you on or off?
I have to admit I find men with deep voices more attractive.
Men are more attracted to women with long hair, large breast etc.

...just throwing some conversation out here.

I used to have this nightmare.
About the internet.
That I would meet the perfect man
on here, all would be a go, UNTIL
the moment I heard his voice.
A high and squeaky, shrill voice.
Sure to grate on your last nerve.
What to do.

How to overcome such a horrid prejudice..
Fortunately, my Texas twanger does
not have this issue :-)

But if he did...wow, I just don't know
because a lifetime of 'nails on the
chalkboard' vocals could send anyone
over the edge.

... I know, That kind of happened to me.

A while back, I was chatting to a nice man and it took me a long time before I gave out my ph# and when he called, his voice was higher than mine!
His voice completely turned me off!
I just couldn't help it! ... plus he lived with his mother! LOL!

Living with one's mother is enough to
make ANY voice squeaky.

A few months ago I was trapped in a car with a chick whos voice sounded like Fran Drescher after sucking down 3,000 helium balloons (and she never shut up). If I was stuck listening to her for 3 more minutes there woulda been a fair chance that I would have stuck her head out the window and wound it up before I completely bled out through my eardrums! So, yes, a voice can be a turn-off.

Sad but true - a wimpy sounding voice is an immediate turn off for me.

I had an instance of really hitting it off with someone in type...but the moment I heard his voice I knew it was WRONG, WRONG, WRONG! There wasn't anything specifically annoying or wrong with his voice but somehow it was like I was hearing a giant warning bell. Turned out later (after 1 call) that he was ready to pack up and move to where I lived & hounded me for months - can you say STALKER? Yeah...the "voice" was right!

On the flip side, I know people with really marvelous voices...even listening to their answering machine makes me all gooey inside. Yum!
