I've met a lot of people who took themselves far too seriously and who expect the same thing out of their partners. So what kind of person are you? How important is laughter in a relationship in your opinion?

Humor is everything.
I think if you relate on that level
you are way ahead of the game.
A meeting of the minds, as it were.
I could not do without it.

Most important. If I can't laugh with a man then I will never fall in love with him. I have to be with someone who makes me laugh so hard I cry and yet can be serious when necessary.

I love to laugh, it's really the only thing in my life that relieves stress. Well that's not entirely true, it's the second thing in my life that relieves stress but it's a close second!

a woman has to have a sense of humor if she plans on waking up and seeing my face first thing in the morning for the rest of her life

Laughter in a relationship is very impotant it releases feelings that make your love even stronger, when the eyes smile with laughter thats when your love is the strongest. Now my question is i am a very funny guy that will make you laugh till you cry hehe. But here i sit with out a love no smiling eyes why i ask why sad

Humor and laughter are very important in any relationship. I don't like it when people are always serious. Its boring. To me, laughter is what makes the world go round.

I'm speaking from experience. Life is long and hard, and when things get hairy and your hands are full, the throbbing pain can be too much to bare, but you just have to suck it up. It's a real pain in the ***, but sometimes, you the sooner you open wide and laugh, the sooner you'll be off your knees and able to get it up.

* I meant "get up." Get up is what I meant.

he has to "get" my sense of humor & it's a little wacky

I'll say something totally deadpan that's completely ridiculous and walk away - most guys don;t get it - they respond as though I'm seriuos

that guy over there on the stairs who's cracking up laughing at me - I want him

I broke off dating with a woman who had no sense of humor. Couldn't stand it. I like laughter.

you have to have laughter, humour, and sometimes the insane itch to run a muck together in a relationship. there does have to be some seriousness too, but definately more humour!
