Honesty in a profile is good, BUT I have found (in my own case) it drives people away. Actually, sometimes the more belligerent ones will write to me to argue about it.

I, too, have had horrible luck with dating sites. People say "How bad can it be?" but when I explain that the first girl I met from a dating site turned out to be an arsonist -- and it got worse from there -- that usually shuts them up.

To be real with you and finding someone who IS REAL and what your looking for,,THAT takes much time to spend searching and talking together to even have the chance to meet them,,so IF you have that kind of time to invest,,then the Net and this place can work together to allow that to happem,,,BUT,,if you want that RIGHT NOW,,,your end up getting lied to and hurt,,and then reject ANY sites abilities to help you become more with a friend on one...?
