I don't know women so if this applies to women too don't be offended.

I know so many amazing guys with educations, etc. etc. who have worked since they were 12 and have been work horses their entire lives, etc.

Suddenly in this economy, budgets get cut, etc. They have found themselves temporarily out of work. A good deal of them were smart enough to save for such a day and doing fine financially in reality.

But some women won't even give them the time of day. It's like to some women man without a job=no value.

I think that is so unfair and damaging. It is bad enough that our society grooms guys and puts pressure on them to be "breadwinners" and so they are out of work and down trodden because they are not getting the fulfillment of working and earning a paycheck, and then to crush them further, some women ask like they have cooties.

the women who shun men simply cause they're out of work does a service to the guy - saves him a lot of wasted time and some of his savings

It really would make no difference to meif a man had a job or not...
It would make a difference if he couldn't be bothered getting off his backside to look for one and just wanted me to look after him..
Nothing worse than a bludger.:smile:

waving waving Josie! Have missed you. Hope you are doing well.

This is true. The way things are now, may have to take a job you aren't all that thrilled about. If it's honest work, take it and continue to look for what you want.

These are the women that will never find the love they yearn to find.

Money is an object.

Objects = Materialism.

Love is an idea.

Ideas = Dreams.

It doesn't cost to dream, it doesn't cost to 'live' (used loosely of course).

That's why that same chick will be in a courtroom in a few years mumbling through her tears, 'I don't know what happened, he just came home and beat my a**.'

Ask Juliet.
Romeo didn't work. XD

I see these people every day, coming into our office. The economy has caused so many budget cuts, layoffs, downsizing, and complete devastation to many businesses. Hard working men and women losing their jobs, through no fault of their own. What I hear from them is this, as they fill out stacks of applications, so do several hundred others for one opening. The people with degrees, sorry, overqualified. The teenagers, nope...job is going to the man with a family to feed.

It affects everyone in some way. To further crush their self esteem by not wanting to get to know them or date them solely because they do not have a job, is just cruel and shows lack of compassion and a very selfish nature. You could be missing out on the love of your life.

There really are so many things to do togather without having to spend money. Be creative, use your imagination, just be satisfied that you have something far greater than money.

First off please forgive me if I offend anyone. I am not in a good place right now.

Anger does that to me.

The thought that just being out of work would keep anyone from dating and being with the love of your life is pure bullcrap.

Rick lost his job in September than his father in November of 2010. It never occured to me that it was a burdon or loss to have to support him. I would pay double to see him smile when I walked in to the room. I would pay triple to hear him laugh once more. I would sell everything I own just to have one more hug.

Sure, money means a roof over your head, money means food on the table, and money means that you have heat. But to keep your money and not give another human heart a chance for love is pure lunecy.

Money does not equate to love, ever.

Money does not last forever, but real, true love lasts an eternity.
