In the early 1990's, there was a skit on Saturday Night Live with Rob Schneider playing this guy in an office whose desk was near a copy machine. Everyone he saw, he did variations on their names, such as, "Randy, Randy makin' copies, the Rand Man, the Randmeister, the Rand Ole Opry, etc., etc."
Just to be funny, almost everyone I knew statred doing that to each other. Almost everyone I knew started calling me "The Pete Man", and the name just stuck, and everyone I know still calls me that, including me. When I joined Mingle, I added the underscores, thus: "The_Pete_Man". |
