My step dad was just diagnosed with type 2 lymphoma. He will be having chemo soon. This has been very hard one him.

My mother needs prayers too. She lost my dad when I was little and now is terrified of losing my step dad.

My grandma recently passed away with cancer. My dad has survived cancer, both my grandpa and step-grandpa passed away from cancer. It's a rough thing to go through for the whole family. I hope things get better soon.

Thanks guys. My family has gone through cancer before. My grandpa died of lung cancer and my grandma had a mastectomy because of breast cancer

Will keep you on my God Bless list. Hopefully you will find some great resources. SeniorCarelocator has some great info for free and then every community had Senior Community Centers through Parks and Recreation that have some great services.

Mentally my step dad is doing well (so far....hasn't started chemo yet) and just has a chronic sore throat right now.

Mom is the one struggling a bit and I think for multiple reasons (that I won't get into here)

Luckily they are very involved with their church and activities, so that will help give them outside support.

This comes to me at a very sad time..I'm so sorry that this is upon him and you and your dear Mother, Kim. All of your family I am sure,,are all Praying and holding their hopes and him,,very close in hand..I know he and all of you must be in tragic fear of all thats ahead.
I am in Prayers for so many who also have THIS going on within their families and loved ones..Cancer is such a long taking,,and the fight is just as hard for the family,,as it is for the loved one with the cancer.
I wished I could give or do more than just my Prayers here for all of you
But,,I can only ask God to help him and all the rest who now suffer these hard times, and tearful moments of solice..

Heavenly Father, in Jesus name we Pray. We ask you Lord to come into this families lives and their hearts, Please help them all to know your with them, to give them hope through your Grace, so they shall feel your power to heal and strengthen this poor mans body and spirit, help him to over-come this battle, oh Merciful father we Pray to you tonight, Please shine your healing light upon them to know, in the name of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, we love you Jesus, AMEN.
