He should bow out.

Why would the most rational, consistent, and popular (especially among the military) candidate who gets boatloads of donations routinely bow out just because the neoconservatives in the media don't like him? @OP-the electoral vote is what counts. Google "American Electoral system" and learn some things.

It amazes me how few Americans will get behind the man that strongly supports personal liberties and strongly opposes the war is peace mentality of this age. I guess we'll get what we deserve then

Yup, he is just so popular. So tell me, how many states has he won? Oh that's right, NONE and he comes in not just last but DEAD last in almost every race. laugh

No one Should bow out Texas is what 155 delagates??......Anyways, say no one gets 1144 delegates in theprimary and it ends up around 500 each or so, does it then go by popular vote or does the one with the highest delegate count win........can't remember that being the case in a primary before??

Some very uninformed people in the world, and I chuckle at some who post here.

Paul last? HARDLY!

RP may not win the dog and pony beauty contests of the states, but what MOST fail to realize is that its "delegates" who decide the nominee.... NOT WHO WINS THE BEAUTY CONTEST!

Ron Paul may come in last in the caucus and primary straw polls, but he garners the most "unassigned delegates, and THEY decide the nominee.... NOT THE STRAW POLL!

Very few states are "winner take all" assigned delegates, and even they are only "bound" to the 1st vote.

Somebody should learn the process, know the facts, before they laugh themselves to foolishness.

It is because those that fear his message have control over the media, and most Americans are media sheep.

Surveys have been done where the majority couldn't even recognize the candidates from images.

Sheeple indeed.

Maybe Ron Paul will get the 2016 nomination if he lives that long! He's just more of the same, but he has deluded so many people.

Look at his voting record . . . he is nothing like the rest of Washington's' big government politicians.
