OK...I'm looking for a poem about a lighthouse. We all know that a lighthouse shines in the dark and storm to guide ships safely home. Compare this to someone whose life is in darkness and there is a light of hope
or something like that lol * let me explain....this is for candles to remind people that there is light and that there are people that care * |

Drifting aimlessly through life on the dark sea of hopelessness and disspare Your wisdom and guidance has brought me to safety like beams of light upon the dark sea That's all I got for now. |

I was stuck in the darkness.
You were my light. When I had no strength. You helped me to fight When all hope was gone and I couldn't find my way. You showed me love that wouldn't sway. My Friend,My Angel,My light from above. I am so grateful fir your Love. You brought me from darkness into the light. Now its my turn to share this light. |

thought I knew you
all those years go by and still darkness is what I see the blank feeling hand in front of face is there nothing deeper shall it be the shallow pit crawling around to find my way grey to black is far from safe if only hope would show itself are these the darkened moments you spoke of the loneliness of truly being alone colorless without a hint feeling without a touch I remember a time you came clearly into view it was but a second but oh so bright brilliant was your passing the hope built deep inside of my soul you were like paint on my canvas how I long for your splash across my bow the safety you once brought to me the peace of mind knowing you were near a place I called home reds greens yellows and blues you made them real you gave them life maybe I only think of myself you must be illuminating the path for others I will wait here patiently for my turn for I know deep down you will never falter you will come as bright as ever here to shed your glory here to give me light here to give me hope |
