hm, can't tell ya...

Well, I have a theory on that too actually...
Scientists believe that plants and animals all have a connected conciousness.
If that belief is one day found to be true, it could be that your brains are so in sync one of you projected the images unto the other...

Side story (but along the same lines):
My friends and I were driving one night...
Long story short, we all three saw the exact same figure standing behind my truck... It looked like a rotting corpse, but standing... A zombie I guess...

Moral of that story, don't drive down creepy roads with slaughter houses and especially not one where murders have happened, and then decide to turn off your lights :]

One of my daughter's friends' mother is a pagan /witch. Him and his friends decided to do a summoning, which he read in one of the mothers' books. All 4 friends saw the demon that appeared. Not a nice end to the story either...dangerous stuff.

Indeed.
Best to not mess with things you don't fully understand.

I participated in a seance type activity once. I did not like what I felt at all and generally opt out of those activities now. I believe very stronly in both good and evil entities and I don't care to go summoning any of them. If the good entities are willing to work with me after I respectfully ask them (and they always are) then wonderful. But, I don't summon anything.

Not sure. When i was nineteen, i suddenly got such a painful migraine that it knocked me to sleep. Not that that bit counts. I'm sure i was half awake, otherwise i wouldn't have felt my eyeballs roll into the back of my head. Did it hurt? Not at all. It isn't painful. After that, i tried to talk or at least scream help, but i just couldn't. I tried moving. Again i couldn't. I was concious though. Otherwise i wouldn't be telling you what i remember about it. The next thing, i feel what feels like a second version of me levitating towards the ceiling. Very strange experience. Don't have a clue what it was. While i was in bed, i was also across the other side of my room looking at me in bed.

Astral travel or near death experience maybe? Try not to laugh at this but i have seen people from above also. I cant figure out what this one was? A dream, trance or what? When i was a child, being the youngest my older siblings went to school and i was

4 and 3/4. So being on a farm, i hung out in this rusted old car that had no doors and it was my private place. One howling, windy day i remember a kind and gentle man taking me by my hand. He flew us into the gale and began to teach me how to ride

the winds. There were so many different currents and flows, it was such a rush. We were interupted by the woman who looked after me. She was below us calling my name and walking towards the car. Instantly i was 'back' and i love stormy gales to this day.

I have had OBE experience combined with a near death experience from a major surgery in 2005 that went wrong or blotched up by someone on the surgery team. I was hovering above my body looking down upon it on the surgery table. I was told they almost lost me and it was a routine surgery. The drugs used maybe but I was looking down upon myself and see everyone else from the view of the top of their heads? Would drugs allow you to see from above looking down upon others which does not seem likely though?

I also remember being able to fly when I was a child through my neighborhood probably thinking for at that age it was my limit as to what the world was. I would be in the air and for long distances be in the air looking down and seeing the top of houses and yards. It was a wonderful and remember it.

I am wondering, about the brain, mind. There is so much we do not understand about it. Maybe it is possible for all to do things we have not ever dreamed of.

There are people from some medical fields that point it out and label it as a mental disorder in some. Some explanations possible. There is also a known factor that illegal drugs, synthesized ones used for highs and alcohol consumption give your mind to be altered causing such things but then there are people who have such things and are straght laced too. Again, some things explaned as possible.

Then in all Religions there is a sector of it labelled, mysticism, dealings related to the category of the phenomena. Possible, we do not know. Then there is the food or agriculture industry, where plants are known to give mind illusions. What a large expensive study to conduct too on food ingredient findings which may be the culprit to alter mind states. Possible culprit. Then there is the Stargate Project conducted by the military government with no conclusion as to evidence in determining phenomena:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Stargate_Project

Even though I have encountered or experienced strange things, I would like to know for sure the source and skeptical that religion plays the significant factor or only factor in such occurrences, and if it truly does.

I heard once we only use 10% of our brain capacity. What if at one time all human beings had abilities which they used daily as part of their normal being and daily activities without thought given as part of who we are, and today, we just do not understand it, yet? Maybe the knowledge was lost centuries ago through a universal occurrence like a meteorite hit? In the 90% of unknow brain territory could be explanation.

What I experience and see others do too is labelled as mysterious, a good word to describe it for now for some until proven with assurance of it and labelled otherwise. That is how I stand and my point of view on this thread.

Yes, I was deprived of sleep and I started seeing things that weren't there. (Dreaming while awake.) I was driving my car and saw a brick wall across the road. I knew it wasn't real, but I wasn't sure about the man at the side of the road. laugh laugh

I decided I needed to catch up on my sleep.

Has anyone ever seen someone else levitate? I have never, heard of it and wondered if it actually happens. I mean seeing someone rise above the ground and not an illusion of a magician either but someone actually levitating ... anyone? Just curious.
