I'm a project manager/coordinator. I used to like my job, but my company has a lot of issues. So these days, it's just a job. As soon as the work day is done, I turn off the laptop and don't think about it until the next morning.

I love what I do, but the nonstop neediness and lack of active participation in treatment of the clients is really getting to me. My name is constantly called out for, in order: 1. What are we eating- I don't know, I don't work in the kitchen; 2. What time, day, date is it. 3. They forgot why they were screaming out my name. 4. I am the only male there and a toilet needs snaking. This is just the weekend job. The week job is constant= why is the world against me.

I like my job cause I am good at what I do.

It ain't hard but, I am the only one in the state of texas with a perfect record in my field going on 7 years.

Hydrochemical containment specialist.

(bottled water industry)

No, jobs are slavery anymore.

I like doing what I want, and getting paid for it. It will be nice once I am able to make a sustainable and secure income from it, so I can stop working jobs, and live out my dream to it's full potential.

It's pretty much an uphill battle though, but I'm getting there. :)

Yeah...I know.

Did the art gig for a bit and hated it. Museums of Natural History. Paleontology....made me ever want to paint for anyone else again. So I just got a real job.

I love some things about it. I feel like I help people even if all I can be is a good listener for a little while. A lot of times people just need someone to listen who will validate their feelings.

I'm not so crazy about the politics of working for government. But, those issues are pretty minimal here compared to the other city I worked for (Los Angeles).

I am also a Tarot card reader and I love doing that most of the time. Not so crazy about giving bad news though.

Well I work in the office for a Machine Shop. The ones before me took the title of Office Mgr., but well hard to call it that when I have no one to manage.laugh Actually my brother & his partner own the company.

I have the easiest job I have ever had in my life at this time with benefits that I have not had before.

I can really say for the first time in a very long time I love my job.......

I made a career out of a profession that started out as a past time over 20 years ago. I don't call it a job, because i happen to like doing what i do.

Edit to add the why i like it.

I like the comraderie and the travel that comes with it, but more importantly, it has provided me with skills with which to cope in day to day life, not to mention some of the most funniest and memorable moments.

Electronics technician for the Indiana Toll Road. I'm part of the technical staff who maintain the entrance or exit equipment (ticket printers, payment machines, EZ-Pass, computers). Very interesting job. Love going to work (usually).

I like my job when everyone pays their rent. I'm sick of going to court and kicking them out.

I have always wanted to teach dance in schools (public), and that's what I do, now! Love it! Hate report cards and marking. :( But if I only hate my job 4 days out of the year, I think that is a pretty darn good place to be.bigsmile

Would love to be an artist for a living (anything creative - sewing, dancing, painting, photography, theatre, etc.), but would probably end up teaching classes, on the side, anyway.

I like my job. There are definate challenges at time. I was a trainer for Michigan auto underwriters and taught no fault and Essential Insurance Law. I am now training underwtiters to assist agents in analysing their book for profitability.
I have never liked reporting competency for how well the underwriters learn and apply their new knowledge. It directly affects their paychecks, and now the agent's. sad2

Most Jobs are slavery, and like the boiling frog in a pan, have been devalued by at least 50% over the past 4 decades. I invent things and help others to create careers from my ideas. They hire people to produce them, but my preferred business model is a cooperative business model.

Enjoy bein my own boss at my primary interest. Selling steaks gives me access to a HUGE discount on great food. Also make lots of contacts. Handyman work helps friends, that need it.
