Hi Penny, just checking in to see how it's going... I can't believe they have you on liquids for 2 wks...I was on Optifast for 2 wks and only one day of liquids and then liquids for a wk after getting home..I guess everyone is different.. Glad the preop went well.. Hang in there and if it gets tough, just think how good you will feel afterwards...hugs

Do you know how long it will take you to heal? Recovery time in hospital? Yes I will be in the hospital 3 days, total recovery and healing is about 6 weeks. I will still be on liquids for 3 more weeks then soft foods for 6 weeks.

Good, I don't know about you but I despise being in hospitals. The sooner you get home I'll bet the better you'll feel, even if sore.
