Maybe to some stupified americans it does.

Half of All Americans Have Below Average IQs!

Digital Dementia News Services) A study published in the current issue of the New England Journal of Medicine indicates that almost fifty percent of Americans are of “below average” intelligence.

According to the article these startling findings are based on “a very large sampling of the population” and are said to be “accurate to within +/- 0.000151%.”

“We see it as endemic in the population. Chances are, approximately fifty percent of the populace is doomed to being below average and that this situation will continue from one generation to the next.” remarked Dr. Mel Anoma, one of physicians who co-authored the report.

The report provoked immediate protests and denunciations (“dee*nuncy*ayshuns”), mostly from people who don’t understand mathematics, statistics or the concept of averages.

And so the journalistic law stands.

I look at the threads on Mingle and see that people go straight down the "let's argue and call each other names" path without giving thought to both sides of an argument. The pros/cons and the helpful/hurtful means to get to long lasting FIXES for a host of ills in this country - economic, social, etc. - are not going to be one-sided blissful processes.

How different is this community than the public at large? How different than those in political power?

Mr. Bigglesworth's thoughts may be more accurate than we know! (JK)

Interesting..........

Media Censorship And Media Ridicule of Patriots.

There are so many examples of the establishment media’s censorship of fundamental issues. The truth is regarded as the enemy by journalists, editors, and “news” executives.

Former Gov. Jesse Ventura’s heroic resistance to the tyrannical TSA and his court hearing was treated as a joke by the establishment media and immediately ignored, despite its huge implications for American society.

Ventura voiced his anger at the media on the Alex Jones show on November 8, saying,

“It seems I’m running into a brick wall with the media. Mainstream media won’t discuss the case, they don’t think it is relevant at all. In fact, I was due to do CNN yesterday and I was bumped because of course the big trial verdict was coming down in the Michael Jackson case. And so that has more importance.” Ventura said he told the CNN producer, “Well, I completely understand, after all, mine is simply a constitutional issue.

Why would that take preference over, you know, Michael Jackson’s verdict on his drug overdose.” Ventura then added, “but that’s our pop culture media.”

I am sorry you failed to COMPREHEND what is implied here, rather than speaking his mind on cnn he was bumped.

So he is forced to go on the Alex Jones show.

Allowing shallow comments like " oh Alex Jones"

He is a former governor and does deserve a little respect.

What exactly do you find troublesome about his stand against the TSA?

vram Noam Chomsky (/ˈnoʊm ˈtʃɒmski/; born December 7, 1928) is an American linguist, philosopher,[6][7] cognitive scientist, logician,[8][9] historian, and activist. He is an Institute Professor and Professor (Emeritus) in the Department of Linguistics & Philosophy at MIT, where he has worked for over 50 years.[10] Chomsky has been described as the "father of modern linguistics"[11][12][13] and a major figure of analytic philosophy.[6] His work has influenced fields such as computer science, mathematics, and psychology.[14][15]

Ideologically identifying with anarcho-syndicalism and libertarian socialism, Chomsky is known for his critiques of U.S. foreign policy[16] and contemporary capitalism,[17] and he has been described as a prominent cultural figure.[18] His media criticism has included Manufacturing Consent: The Political Economy of the Mass Media (1988), co-written with Edward S. Herman, an analysis articulating the propaganda model theory for examining the media.

According to the Arts and Humanities Citation Index in 1992, Chomsky was cited as a source more often than any other living scholar from 1980 to 1992, and was the eighth most cited source overall.[19][20][21][22] Chomsky is the author of over 100 books.[23] He is credited as the creator or co-creator of the Chomsky hierarchy, the universal grammar theory, and the Chomsky–Schützenberger theorem.

Honest criticism isn't crapping on ones country unless of course one has a Nazi mentality.

I beg the question "what arguments of Mr Chomsky do you disagree with?

How is he crapping on his country and why do you think he would do that?

What is your exposure to his books?

But why should we hear about body bags and deaths, and how many, what day it's gonna happen, and how many this or that or what do you suppose? Or, I mean, it's not relevant. So, why should I waste my beautiful mind on something like that,
