To be honest I wish they had a 'weight thingy' for a person to put how many kilograms they weigh.

Or how many pounds they weigh.

Not every nation uses the metric system.

Technically they do. Burma, Liberia and the United States the only ones that do not.

Please, give me your definition of the different body types. I see different size people for the same body type. I see average as someone at their idea body weight. An equal medium for a body type.

Everyone will have a different definition of a body type. I would say mine is average but friends would say athletic; and some men on this site would say overweight. I think its really in the eye of the beholder.

Everyone has their preferences and I am being honest when I say weight would be an issue for me. An overweight man does not do it for me, it is what it is. I could not care less how much my friends weigh. But I want to be attracted to my man on all levels.

I heard somewhere that the average American woman is a size 14. I would describe a size 14 woman as more "thick" than fat.

Is this what you mean by a size 14?

That may be true, but there are different factors to measure by as well, and I'm sorry but a 6 foot woman who weighs 90 pounds is going to look a little anorexic to me.

It's not only in America that obesity is a (pardon the pun) growing problem, and i think it comes down to 3 things.

Laziness
Convenience
Fast food

Don't forget budget, lol. Hmmm jumbo jack or Jennie oh turkey breast, which one is cheaper?

Yes...there is that too.

Within a 5km radius of where i live, there is every kind of fast food outlet imaginable. It's ridiculous.

Post video of yourself. Then there is no hiding excess weight.

I can understand preferring a certain body type. I just don't understand getting bent out of shape over how people describe themselves.

The guys that I see b!tching the most about women's bodies tend to be azzholes in general. At least from my perspective.

I think anyone who has a problem with fat people, are obviously not worth being in a relationship with. And some people wonder why they're single with an attitude like that? Wow. Just because society bashes fat people, constantly, doesn't mean they are any less of an awesome person. I'm glad to know a few fat people. drinker

Feeling sorry for them is not going to help them either. People who eat for comfort obviously have issues. Educating oneself about eating healthy is easy....dealing with the issues that cause them to turn to food for comfort is not. And 'society' makes it convenient for them by slapping a fast food outlet on every corner.

The other funny thing is the guys that carry quite a bit of weight themselves are the ones that want a slim woman. Oh the irony. laugh

Over eating/binge eating on junk food is a cheap and socially acceptable (as opposed to using drugs) high. That's the bottom line.

Nobody expects perfection. Confidence in oneself is seriously attractive and I rarely see that in a person who struggles with weight. I am not talking about 20 pounds or so, I mean like quite overweight. It does show underlying issues IMO.

Those types of men and their ideas of perfection have been influenced by the media too much. It is the whole person that ought to attract. Shallow....

I suppose that women don't have any ideas of perfection.
