And for Ilikeflipflops: Try to remember it this way... Adjectives describe a person, place or thing and Adverbs describe activity. (yes I watched a lot of School House Rock)

Pretty WOMAN, handsome man, adorable child, all are describing so they are adjectives.

Running quickly, slowly walking, moving with caution would be adverbs. Hope this helps a bit.

Sorry everyone I dont speak anything but English and most of the time I'm lucky to get through that properly. I do however understand SOME southern. Never understood though "I'm a tryin to catch a cold" Now who on earth TRIES to catch a cold???

Has anyone else noticed that the OP misspelled "grammar" in the original post? While I applaud the effort to provide us with some advice re: the woman-women issue (which, admittedly, is an ongoing problem), I just find it a little ironic, that's all.

I would neva make a mistake like that....

Everyone on here spells grammar as grammer---just like masturbate as masterbate...

Yeah, I see "freind" a lot, and "intimint," as in "intimint encounter."

Sounds like Life Savers....

Well, to be "REAL" with me and spelling.

I simply just talk in my OWN language, and tell EVERYONE that,
"THATS ME" like me or hate me,,,,but I can only be ME..lol

I misspell more words than most but it proves one damm thing for sure,,,,,,IM NORMAL.....lol....lol, and REAL......lol

So I guess you could just CALL me a ENGLISH HATER!!! lol,lol

But, im very LOVABLE, and house broken. lol:heart: bigsmile
