Majority of Republican Voters Believe in Demonic Possession

Via AlterNet: A staggering 68 percent of registered Republican voters stated that they believe demonic possession is real. Meanwhile, only 48 percent of self-identified Republicans believe in another equally if not more scary natural phenomenon: climate change. The poll was conducted by Public Policy Polling, touted by NPR as “one of the most prolific polling outfits in the country.” In a classic example of cognitive dissidence, only 37 percent of registered voters–both Democrat and Republican–believe in ghosts, although 57 percent believe in demonic possession. This raises the question, which was ignored in the presidential debates along with other essential issues like climate change and the educational system, about what the possessing force would actually be. Republican mind set...from my observation with family and friends of this political group
Hmmm, unevolved enough to not understand their perspective/view/ projections are not universal, shouldn't be universal and are not right for anyone but themselves. Self restrictive and denigrating by choosing to judge all other humans with such high standards which they don't hold themselves. So traditional they limit their intelligence. ... Take, often times, false honor to a ridiculous level... Want life/justice/morals/etc... to be black and white and they fail themselves wanting this when it is never that cut and dried nor will it ever be. |

Here is another one of my inane opinions. I am not good with the computer, but I wanted to post the map of the states filing to secede next to the census map of the states with the highest poverty levels, as I think they match up almost perfectly. If they do secede, we will luckily have gotten rid of that major draw on the budget- you know people needing handouts or handups, as the case may be. A friend of mine stated that we would call ourselves the United States of America and the new seceded nation should be called Jesusland.
